Good stuff goin on in here. I like the idea of the Phillies...big Odubel fan. Padres seem like they might be the biggest challenge, but I think I might get a little bored with them with so many fresh, unknown faces. The Angels are kind of interesting too with a mix of some youth and vets. Good stuff.

Checked out the Padres depth chart the other day...and man, it could be a long year for them. I'm a pretty big baseball fan across the league and didn't recognize a few of the names I saw there.

As much as I'd like to the say Twins(and that might have been the #1 answer the past few years), that might not be the case anymore, sadly. Seems like our farm system has dwindled with Buxton, Sano, Berrios, and Kepler graduating and not much left with rookie eligibility. There's still some hope the rebuild can work this year, but I'm not so sure right now.

A team no one really talks about a good rebuild is the Angels....Yes they have Trout, BUT they have horrible contracts, average MLB talent and the worst farm system. There may be 5 "B" potential prospects in that farm and that might be pushing it. I'm sure plenty of ppl would find trading Trout may very well be the route to go. Specially having contracts on.

I feel like the Twins in The Show are a monster more then a rebuild. That infield is basically set. Sano, Gordon (after u trade Polanco), Dozier, Mauer, Castro, Rosario, Buxton and Kepler. You can get by with that pitching. Sometimes teams in games are way more superior then in real life and this team is that case IMO

Personally, I think I'd rebuild the Rays.

They had the worst attendance in baseball last year, both in total tickets AND relative to stadium capacity.

Yes, the Trop is a terrible place for baseball, and right now, The Show doesn't allow for changing that. But surely you can put together a team that can attract fans and make for somewhat-entertaining baseball, right?

The Show makes places like the Trop and O.co tolerable, even downright entertaining.
                IRL not so much.
Also, in the Show you can put together a team in Tampa that can attract fans.
                IRL, again, not so much.

Tampa, I got 3 words for ya:

Yeah one team I am considering is the Braves. While they aren't my favorite team, they are the closest team to where I'm from and my family likes them. Plus with arguably the best farm system and a new stadium they should be very fun.

Another team I may do that no one is mentioning is the White Sox. They blew up their team and are in full rebuild now. I feel like it would be a cool story to lead them to a World Series title since their crosstown rivals are turning into a dynasty as well.

Every year I try to do the rebuild. Brewers, A's and Padres and every year I end up back with the Blue Jays. (won the World Series this year, first time ever)

I'd like to complete the Yankees rebuild, but I just can't touch any AL East team other than my beloved Jays.

My Tigers. I can't see myself trading JV, and/or Miggy but my goal - getting down to 120m payroll. That will be a challenge. AND still be competitive.

im the same way. I like to go for teams with zero titles and Padres and Rockies cant work out cuz im a Giants fan and playing them 19 times isnt an option. I fine too many easy ways to make each team a power. like the Brewers...they are stacked in the farm and Villar and Braun are video game monsters

Angels might be the most challenging rebuild. Worst farm system in baseball, multiple bad contracts, not that great of a major league roster except for Trout. Angels are probaly the toughest in my opinion, espeacilly if you don't trade Trout and use him to help retool the farm system as for the most part he's probaly the only guy you can get much high quality prospects for.

One that a lot of people won't consider will be the Texas Rangers. They actually have the #22 ranked system by BA, they play in a very talented division with Houston, Seattle & LA. This is who I'll be going with and if I'm out of it when the trade deadline rolls around I'll look into moving Darvish and Lucroy.

I would definitely say the Angels would be the toughest rebuild at present time. They really need to unload Trout at some point and restock that awful farm system.
