Everytime Sergio Romo comes in to pitch for the home team the PA system plays a song that sounds similar to El Mechon which is his entrance song.
    Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Never let fear determine who you are. Never let where you came from determine where you are going.

They re-did the animation for a strike call that was expected to be ball 4 by the batter. That is one of the better looking animation/cutscenes I have seen in this year's game. The reaction of the hitter makes me smile every time.

Love all of these examples, but then I hear something that hasn't been changed in years in this game....

The Busch Stadium crowd chants "Let's go Redbirds, Let's go Redbirds"

Really???? They have never chanted that at the Cardinals game ever! It's always "Let's go Cardinals".

I am pretty sure this was in the game last year as well, but last night was either the first time I had seen it, or the first time in a very, very long time. I hit a home run right down the right field line that looked like it just got inside the foul pole. The first baseman started to argue with the umpires that he thought it was foul. They got together for awhile then review it. It was the correct call, but still pretty cool.

At the Padres stadium, you can see the Airplanes descending, while at bat. I've ran through like 5 seasons and just noticed that last night.

haha, that's been in the Show ever since Petco opened pretty much. But I find it annoying, you can't see planes that often at Petco, especially since all the new buildings have gone up. And they definitely aren't that big or that close.

I'm playing there in my franchise ATM. I find them very distracting and way too frequent.

I think I've learned to tune them out by now. Was cool when Petco first opened, but its about almost once an inning you see a plane.

Don't know if I've just never noticed it, or forgot about it, but there is a shark in the Pittsburgh Pirates bullpen at PNC Park. Nice little nod to the "Shark Tank" and former Pirates' closer Mark Melancon.

Just hit a homer and the announcer yelled "Hit 'em with the Hein". Loved it. Howard Stern show reference.

That's too funny. I never thought I'd hear anyone make a reference to that perverted fool in a video game. Someone must like him

On some homeruns at AT&T Park for the Giants:

                            "Ittttttt is outtaaaaaa hereeeee!!!"

Great one-handed grab by a fan down the left field line as I was playing yesterday. The fans really have some great interaction with the game now. Sorry for the bad angle I couldn't record this at the same time easily

I wonder if they have special recordings for each ballpark? I know in Miller Park they do the "Get up, Get up, Get outta here! Gone!" sometimes for homers.
