So a 4k non HDR tv will still receive the enhanced visuals minus the hdr.. correct?

Re: MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro
30 fps max in 4k would be brutal to try and play.
Yeah, I think I'd caution anyone who wants to run out and buy a Pro to wait for impressions from those of us who already own one, regarding exactly what each of these options mean. For example, does "high frame rate" include 60 FPS in out-of-play scenes as well as gameplay?
I at least know that even the regular PS4 is fully capable of 60 FPS in this game because I've seen that (at times) in the various videos (not streams - those lose too much quality) that we know are on a regular PS4 dev kit. So I don't feel like regular PS4 owners should feel like they're getting a raw deal on this.NBA2K is the standard of sports games period.Comment

How much does any of this effect input lag? If my 4K tv sucks in that regard it won't help that at all right?Comment

Glad they've taken HDR even further and allow you to adjust depending on your set. They said for people with TVs that go up to 1000 nits or more you can crank the HDR slider all the way up and keep it down for those with sets that don't go as high in nits. Pretty cool of them to add that.NBA2K is the standard of sports games period.Comment

But like I mentioned before enhanced mode with HDR might be the better choice than 4K. I have a feeling running the game in native 4K will cause some framerate issues. 1440p still looks amazing.
But I could be wrong. NBA 2K in 4K and HDR still had a solid framerate. Pretty sure it was a stable 60fps.Last edited by PVarck31; 03-16-2017, 10:04 PM.Comment

Haha I did the same. I just couldn't imagine not playing with 4K and HDR. I was 99.999999% sure the game would have it.
