Got it looking better, but now the ball looks transparent when its in play. Any suggestions?

MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro
Night game by any chance? I played my first night game last night and I noticed the ball was harder to pick up once it was in play. Also noticed that awful looking halo effect around the bat and helmets of batters. I hope they can do something about that.Last edited by ricky24; 03-31-2017, 02:43 PM.Comment

Keep messing around with settings and finally got my TV set to color 50. I had it at 75 but I want it as default as possible.
Can someone chime in if this looks too bright or too "colorful"? This is June 4PM in Cardinals stadium.
Thanks for any input guys.

Re: MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro
Have my Pro pretty much setup...about 90 minutes left on my data transfer from the ext HDD and I'm ready to game!
Had to make sure on my Sammy 60" KS8000 that I had that UDHMI or whatever it is setting enabled for the HDMI port. Once I did that, the Pro is telling me the display can do 2k/4k and HDR is good, etc. I was a little confused there at first but now I'm super-green.
This is turning out to be quite the learning thread about exactly WHAT HDR is and what 4k/UHD is, and as has been pointed out there is a difference. HDR is all about contrast and 4k is all about resolution.
Art's post earlier with the two-TV comparisons was excellent at pointing out the HDR. When I want to watch a 4k/HDR blu-ray on my One S, I only watch those at night with ALL of the lights off (not even ambient light, or at least not much at all) because it just works better that way. Daytime is for 'normal' viewing unless you can black out your room.
Shortly, I'm looking forward to seeing how this all works on the Show for myself. Plannin on running Enhanced based on the information here for that smoothness.
Great thread guys.
And finally, don't let the complexities of this get you down. The studio missed the mark on this a bit by not providing some sort of calibration tool like Mass Effect has...sounds like this game is just a bit more fiddly for HDR but that may even get sorted somehow with a future update.GO 'HAWKS!
