This is the only game I own that even has HDR. All other games I have are from before Pro.

I honestly feel like HDR off is the kind of pop I expected to have with HDR on....polar opposites

This game is beautiful, it's crazy when you get your settings where you like them.

This game is from early April in the evening, just as the sun is setting. I played with the Dome open to get the sunlight coming in.

Has anyone found a good HDR setting for KU6300/6500 yet?

I set the intensity slider all the way up and of course set the settings on my tv correctly for HDR and I think it looks really good. But possibly a tad to bright.

Tried to take a pic and post it here but it just doesn't look right in a screen shot.

So I ran Yankees stadium and played with and without HDR using the the same time settings and HDR looks a lot better. I noticed with HDR the colors popped more while still looking natural, skin tones looked better and it was overall better because it looked like there were more colors. I'm sure this has to do with the wide color gamut during HDR. I even noticed the way the sun reflects off their jerseys is different. Without HDR the sun reflecting off the white Yankees jerseys looked overly contrasted like the sun is almost shinning off a mirror instead off clothing.

You lose some of the details off the white uniforms while the bright 4pm June sun shines off them. While in HDR the sun shines off the jerseys but you can see all the details and looked more natural. The colors are more dull without HDR. That was my short observation doing 1 inning of pitching and batting.

So if you think the picture pops a lot and looks great without HDR wait until HDR starts working properly on your sets. You're going to love the picture even more.

Interesting......I'll have to bounce back and forth now that I've tried with HDR off and really make some comparisons, but I'm certain that HDR off has done wonders visually for me and it's not like I have a crap TV

With HDR off, there is so much more pop, clarity, the uniform colors are perfect, nothing looks "off"

With HDR on and I have tried the slider all over the place, tweaked the display settings on my TV....the colors of everything (uniforms, stadiums, etc) are just off and things seem to have this strange tint to them, some things are way too dark....it just doesn't make sense

I was fooling around with HDR on/off in the settings for Infamous: Second Son. HDR on with the backlight turned all the way up (as it should be for HDR use, generally speaking) looked pretty good, but the darks were a little too dark. Switching HDR off still looked amazing and yielded a little better lighting situation for me.

So far, my experiments with the Show 17 are a bit inconclusive, because I haven't maxed out the in-game HDR slider while also maxing my backlight. I'll try that tomorrow, but so far I seem to prefer #TeamWithoutHDR.

HDR can look incredible in a 4k blu ray, but not sure (so far) how well it's translating to gaming. Too small a sample size so far.

All that HDR stuff aside, the boost in resolution and frame rate on the Show and my other games has been a great payoff!

Yeah very interesting. I think there are a lot of variables at play here and it's not a "one size fits all" situation. Between PS4 settings, The Show settings, tv settings, different tv specs, people are seeing literally different things probably

I think I finallt have a good setting foe HDR.

Intensity slider half way. I've changed it the main menu a few times but it seems to look the same. If anything, it might be just a tad too bright.

Camera phone doesn't do it justice, but the lighting and shadows are slick. Running enhanced visuals with HDR max.
