Ok so i restarted the game , HDR is set to about 40 to 50% and now it looks pretty good I think.

One thing though, don't have your options apply to ALL SOURCES or it'll overwrite your PS4 HDMI port settings!

I highly recommend you guys buy a calibration Blu- ray like Disney's WOW. Not all panels are the same and use the same settings. Contrast at 85 clips the whites on my ks8000 tv. Using the Disney's WOW calibration blu-ray I was able to set contrast perfectly at 97..

          That sounds backwards.

I do agree about a calibration disc, though.

He did my old Samsung, he's really good. I'd like to have him do my new TV but it'll have to wait a while as we are about to go on vacation.

He'll be touring Illinois and Minnesota this month. Maybe you can catch him in May when he's in the VA/MD area or afterward.

Just ordered a copy off Amazon. It's way over priced now it seems. I got a used copy though.

Is there a reason to keep the disc after calibration? Or would it just be a one time setup for this tv?

How much used? I'm not paying $88 new for a disc. Insane.

After you're done I'll buy it if I haven't gotten one by then. I saw they had used ones for $46 on there.

You're right. Clipping is when it's set too high and that's what I meant to say. For me contrast at 85 was set too low.

It was $45 for the multi-format disc. I just plan on sending it back after I get done with it.

Unless there is a reason to keep it.

This is why I bought it used.
