Also, why do the PS4 Video Output Settings need to be automatic for Resolution instead of 2160p - RGB?

      Thanks.

I haven't messed with white balancing but someone posted a video for regular (ie tv watching) viewing that showed them editing 2 pt white to be +9 red gain and -9 blue gain. However, that's not something I've done as that video was not for gaming specifically and I myself have never noticed a blue hue and lack of reds in my time gaming on the PS4.

As for why you should do automatic. Well I read a lot about it and it's because your PS4 Pro will look at the content and decide whether to do RGB or the other YUV420 based upon if it is HDR content or not. If it's not HDR content then it will use YUM420 and your TVs panel and if it is HDR it will use RGB and your 8 bit panel.

That's the basics of it, I may have some of that backwards but the bottom line is every site I've read about it, they have all said to use automatic.

Nice custom cover btw, I apologize to the Phillies for going back to school and not accepting being drafted by them but as a Cowboys fan I cannot ever fathom playing for any Philadelphia team, LOL...

Also, I know some of you guys are using Dynamic Contrast but your eyes will tend to adjust if you give it some time with it set to off. I also was using it on Medium at one time.
Really? You are having no problems? Even when you change setting during a game you don't notice a brightness change?

I have no problems only because I don't change my graphical settings at all. If I do the picture goes bright, washed out, etc and I have to restart the game.

I have a 55" Samsung 4K (JS7000) TV with a PS4 Pro. I have set the Device Type to Game and turned Game Mode On while turning off Auto-Motion Plus, etc..

I just turned HDR mode on and immediately noticed that it was much harder to see the baseball. Like its colored gray now instead of white. There is very little contrast between the ball and the background.
                    Am I doing something wrong?

No that's a known issue that we are hoping that they patch

That was likely part of the trade.

So after getting the pro all setup, I feel like I like the way the game looks with HDR off? Or with no intensity.

You probably need to just adjust your settings with it on until you find something you like.

Trust me, the game does not look better with HDR off.

I also struggled at first with the HDR...I thought it was too dark for me...im using ODOGG'S settings on my KS8500...but my mind was completely blown last night when I did a quick game at Wrigley in October with 7pm start time.
I took a look to see what 4k with HDR on would look like and it was absolutely amazing. Any body who has reservations about HDR do what I did and play at Wrigley in October with HDR on...I guarantee your mind will be changed just like mine was last night
