Re: MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro
I don't think you can. I believe they just have the Redsox color too dark. I checked without HDR on and it's not a bright red like it should be. However, all the other jersey colors are correct so don't think it's on my end.Comment

It might be the way the game handles light exposure, if it dims during camera movement and such. If so,that's an actual game feature, that tries to control the amount of light output based on focusing on player faces and how much light is in camera at that moment in time.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro
Was wondering if others see exposure changes when switching cameras from shade t I sunlight? It looks kinda like the TV is doing some kinda auto brightness thing but I'm in game mode with everything turned off. I seem to recall older versions of the show having this as a feature that simulates how the real life cameras have to quickly adjust exposure. I guess with the UHD and HDR features I am super aware of the levels and can see when they change and want to be sure it's a feature and not my TV doing something weird.

I have the 800d as well and to me hdr looks great. I use mostly rtngs settings. I have my contrast at 90 and color temp is warm. I have my hdr slider at 20. I may try tweaking my hdr slider up a bit but am happy with the way the show looks on my set with the settings I have now.

Ricky, does the Redsox alternate Red jersey look correct to you? It seems like it's a darker red than the bright red in real life.Comment
