I still can't do figure out this game. 1pm sunny days look pretty good. Everything overcast looks awful. I've resorted to turning dynamic contrast back on.

Sounds like real life weather. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Does anyone play this game on a vizio or LG tv? I'm just curious cuz I heard since vizio and LG have different HDR than Samsung, Samsung using hdr10, can u even enable her for games on ps4 pro?

You're probably referring to Dolby Vision, which is a competing standard to HDR10. I know Vizio supports Dolby Vision but not sure about LG but I think that's what you're referring to.

Anyways, those TVs also support typically support HDR10 as well though (depends upon the model). The PS4 Pro supports HDR and most 4K TVs that are newer will as well. It does not yet offer any support for Dolby Vision.

If you have any doubts about what format a TV supports, HDR10, Dolby Vision, etc, check out rtings.com to get the scoop. It will tell you all about it.

Lg does support dolby vision. Actually they have it on the g6 phone as well as their OLEDs.

LG supports Dolby Vision but it doesn't matter. The PS4 Pro doesn't and neither do most games. In general, there's not a lot of DV content.

Yeah, it's definitely hit and miss between games for me on the KU6300. I'll go one game without HDR, one game with, and I'm really not sure which is better at this point.

If you're not sure which is better then I question if you have HDR set up right because games that support HDR look much better than non-HDR games.

Absolutely. It's night and day and no looking back if you had HDR correct.

Yeah, that is correct on all of my other games, and I thought I had my KU6300 setup properly, but it's a little whitewashed in color saturation still.

Anyone else with the 6 series Samsung from last year that has had any luck on settings?

I just recently bought the new Samsung MU7000 (49") last week. It's been a week of tweeking adjustments thus far. However, I'm not agonizing over it lol. Rtings.com has not reviewed the MU7000 series yet but says it is in between the KU6000 and KS8000 series of 2016. Take it for what it's worth, but I've found that with the model I possess, it looks and performs better for The Show with GAME MODE = ON for the Enhanced Visuals Mode.

I've tested all of the other modes and settings and got the best results with this. Let me know if you have any further questions. I'm not an expert but I sure now what's appeasing to my eyes. I just hope a patch of some sort can get 4k running smoothly for us (w/HDR). Nevertheless, the game looks gorgeous!!

So did anyone every come up with settings for the KU6500/6300?

Just tried again for the hell of it and did intensity at 25 clicks and still didn't look great. I wish you could just move the slider in game so you can see it in real time.

So I was messing around with the hdr... I went to a game after setting it in the main menu. Went to settings in a game and changed it.... instead of backing out I, I went to restart game. After that I was able to mess with the settings in game and not have it go super bright. And I know this cause I could see the difference at 25, 50 and 75. I'm keeping it at 25 clicks. Anything more, the more the colored uniforms get washed out which sucks because everything else looks great.

I have the same tv or believe we do since we discussed this before.

Edit- if you find a good setting, let me know

I just took a quick peek at rtings.com for the real scene peak brightness, and it's 413 nits. Based on one of the devs saying to put the HDR slider at 75 for 1000 nits, you should have yours somewhere between 20-30 if I was to take a best guess at it.
