Several stadiums have fantastically rich grass (check out Oakland), and many other stadiums have the "dead grass" effect. Philadelphia is one of them.

Like I've said before, I've given up on HDR. It just looks better without it. Other game look much better with it, but oh well.

As far as resolution, 4K looks amazing but the framerate is just not tolerable. Was using enhanced visuals and liked it, but still some framerate issues. So I tried HFR mode and it's so silky smooth, I think I can deal with the game at 1080p to get that smoothness we've never really seen in the game.

Too bad. No going back for me. I have it maxed out on a Sony Z9D. Pics don't do it justice because screenshots aren't HDR.

Glad it works for you. Just doesn't look right for me and I've tried pretty much every possible setting. I'm honestly not worried about it anymore.

It still looks great without it so you're going to get a good experience anyway. The lighting was always a good feature in this game.

I'm playing RTTS with enhanced graphics and the frame rate is almost unplayable when I am in the field, about 20% of the time.

Not sure what it's supposed to look like, but I think in this game the colors vary greatly depending on camera angle and especially the Lighting.

Just curious, since I have not been following this thread, is anyone noticing a white glow on the helmets during night games? Looks like it might be a reflection off the stadium lights.

                  I am using a ks8000 65' with the PS4 Pro.

for me The HDR didnt look good at first either, until I realized I had that messed up graphic thing happening after i changed settings, so i just needed to restart, but what started as a ps4 slim purchase and mlb16 in january has now turned into a ps4 pro, 4ktv, mlb17 hall of fame, The sad thing is I put this in our bedroom and now I dont even want to come out, wife and kids have almost disowned me , LOL,

After returning the Sony X800D and getting the Samsung KS8000 I can finally say I am happy with HDR and the game visually. Biggest thing is remembering what Artman mentioned in thread about HDR not being this super bright change. That post he made really explained it better to me.

HDR is very subtle, especially if you use dynamic contrast on non HDR sources. You lose a little detail in very dark and bright areas in this case, but to me it's worth it. I go back and forth on whether to use Dynamic Contrast on HDR. I know you're not supposed to, but in a lot of cases it looks amazing. On high, I'd say that Horizon looks better but MLB gets a little cartoony.

I'm still playing with my HDR settings, but I switched to high framerate too. Enhanced visuals plays really well, but I notice the slight framerate drop more than the extra resolution.

What stadium are you playing in? I just started a Met's franchise and have noticed that white glow on the helmets at Citi Field. Wonder if this stadium specific?
