Sorry if this has been asked, but how do i bring up the opposing pitcher's arsenal and their pitch speeds in-game?

Not sure if this has been asked. I'm new to the PS4 version, but in the past on PS3 you could pick the uniform for the CPU team in Franchise mode. Now, I choose it, back out to select my team uniform and it resets the CPU uniform to a default home or road. I want to do some TBTC type things and don't know how to work around this yet.

The pitch arsenal can be brought up by hitting R2. For speeds, last year it showed up on the pause screen - not sure if that's still the case this year (I hope it is).

Did they get rid of the radio show in franchise mode or did they improve it at all?

Still in. Sounds the same to me as '16 (note that it was pretty significantly improved from '15 to '16, though)

Is pitching API broken? I have it on and it's now showing me where the catcher wants me to put the ball?? It shows what pitch to throw but not where to put it..

Has any experienced the "show cast" statcast on screen prahics. Launch angle, ev etc?

Is there an option to turn this on/off?

Played quite a few games and haven't seen any of it yet.

The only "on/off" toggle is the MLB Network broadcast package. The 2 generic ones don't use Showtrack.

Remember that in Franchise you can make any game an MLB Network game if you want - it doesn't just have to be the ones on the calendar.

Thanks. So do they just do random plays?

I hit a HR and it didn't give me any of the statcast stats.

Yeah, it's pretty random. For HR's I think you'll see it more on extremely long (or high) ones.

It isn't frequent. I've played... five total full length games (9 innings, no QC), and I think I've seen only a handful of overlays. Out of the 10 or so homeruns I've seen (from me AND the computer), only two were stat-casted for me.

On a stolen base by Rajai Davis, I got a statcast for his speed.

On a single by the computer, I got a statcast on the exit velocity.

It is very random, and not all that frequent, which is probably how it should be.

I do hope they add a "slider" of sorts for Statcast Frequency though. More options are always a good thing.

Is the higher outfield fence in Coors Field in the game?
