Most of last week I was playing in the minor league stadiums which likely don't have any stadium tagging and I only started my regular season yesterday where now the games will be played in the big league stadiums. But I've seen (or should I say heard) one example of stadium tagging. I had a CPU vs CPU Yankees vs Rays game going and a ball struck the top of the outfield wall at Tropicana Field which gave a loud'ish metallic sound that I've never heard before in the game. At least I am assuming it was an example of the stadium tagging. However in my own game at Miller Park later in the day, no home runs were hit by either team. So I will need to wait for more evidence of this stadium tagging.

Isn't there a way to have all cyber faces in franchise?

In previous years I think you started a fantasy draft, but backed out before picking anyone. The rosters would stay the same somehow, and everyone would have a cyber-face as if they had been traded or signed with a new team.

I only have one card like this right now, a rookie Zack Greinke that I got through the ticket menu.

I assume player epics will function semi-similarly, but I haven't got anything there yet.
Thanks! I assume that player missions are given through missions and rewards, not through by a mission card in the community market.

I've heard it a few times. One of my more recent times was in Progressive Field in a Battle Royale game. Kyle Schwarber hit a bomb to center and Matt mentioned that he "hit a bomb into Heritage Park". Pretty cool

Thank you, I remember hearing about it but never tried.

baseball is my least favorite of the 4 major sports and I havent played a baseball game since MVP Baseball 2007. but with Phillies opening day game this afternoon im kind of getting the itch to give the games a try again. my main concern is that im not that knowledgeable about the game as say, football. I dont know all the ins and outs (shifts, pitch types, etc). is there any kind of tutorial mode I can play that will teach me these things? or is there a video I can watch that you guys would recommend? or is it all something I can pick up quickly just by playing the game? thanks in advance!

They have more training wheels than any other sports game out there, I wouldn't say it'll go through the ins and outs but that is alot to cover. The game will make you aware of what's going on though no doubt. Most players always use all of the swing and pitching feedback available. One of my underrated favorites is they keep detailed information pitch by pitch for you to evaluate. Everyone needs that pitch by pitch info if they're playing seriously. Their information though is really all gameplay oriented not strategic, although you could piece together the information to gain more understanding strategically if you know what you're looking for already.

Is there a way to play online friendly match in Hybrid or Broadcast ? I see only FastPlay ( it's locked ) and i remember devs said it would be possible this year.

So I have been trying to complete the opening day time limited mission where you need to get 20 hits against the CPU in DD. I played 2 games and did it but low and behold, I had to click on the mission first to start it. So I then click on it and play a game where I had 8 home runs with 16 hits and was a walk away with Griffey Jr to complete his opening day stats mission when the game decides to crash on me in the bottom of the 7th inning That dumb blue Playstation screen pops up and says an error occurred.

Has anyone else experienced this glitch? I have now tried 3 times and failed to complete this timed mission. Granted, it was my fault for not starting the mission but this last game was all on SDS. I obviously did not get any hits counted towards the 20 and it still sits on 0/20. So freaking frustrating

                              That's what I do.

Once there are 2 strikes, I go to the contact swing...until then, I'm sitting on a particular pitch and specific zone, ready to pounce.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I know it's hard to tell but does anyone else have a large shadow around the bat and the batters hand especially in night games. It looks as if they have light saber. This also could just be my eyes
