Is there a setting or audio sider setting I can adjust to better hear in stadium sound effects?

Balls hitting the foul pole?

HR horns @ AT&T after a HR?

Can BARELY hear these effects now?

What I do is turn sound effects all the way up, put the commentary and PA at half way and then everything else almost all the way down..Then i crank up my TV volume so that every sound effect is loud and at the same time I can still hear the commentary but not too loud because it's half way down.

audio is hit and miss with several glaring issues, like how presentation music is like three times as loud as stadium music while sharing the same volume slider. i would turn off presentation music if i could.

Any way to manually injure players in Franchise Mode? Tried to do it a couple times, didn't work, have recently deleted those Franchises. Want to know if I can do that when OSFM comes out tonight, and I start my real Franchise. I am trying to keep rosters realistic as much as I can throughout the season.

Make sure your your franchise settings file is set to "Use as Default"

Switch injuries to "Manual" in the Gameplay options General/Advanced tab (not in Mode-specific options)

Go to the DL screen, choose a team with L2/R2 and press L1/R1 to get to the teams whole roster. Choose an player, an injury and there you go.

Does anyone know why there are no real managers or coaches in DD vs CPU? Here are some pics of who should be Mike Scioscia, Ron Roenicke and Alfredo Griffin. It's pretty jarring to just have generic guys for teams managers and coaches. Has SDS stated why they did this and can they add the real ones in a patch?

Does anyone know why there are no real managers or coaches in DD vs CPU? Here are some pics of who should be Mike Scioscia, Ron Roenicke and Alfredo Griffin. It's pretty jarring to just have generic guys for teams managers and coaches. Has SDS stated why they did this and can they add the real ones in a patch?

I thought Scioscia was in the game.

Anyways any coach or manager that is not in the game is due to licensing.

He is. But they're CAP's in DD for whatever reason. Doesn't seem like a big deal to me though.

Has anyone assessed the quality of the trade logic for CPU teams in franchise mode yet?

I'm not a fan of doing 30-team control if it's not totally necessary, but I remember in years past that it was common to see the same player traded multiple times in a season, which is kind of lame, and which is one reason I would consider doing 30-team control.


Does that still happen in this year's game (a single player being traded multiple times in a season)?

The trade logic still sucks. They try to fill needs more, but you'll see ridiculous things happen. Two veteran stars traded for an okay player just cause he's young. Players get traded by one team and immediately traded to another, and then in the offseason they'll trade him again. Stuff like that.

This is a phenomenon that I wish would get addressed. I remember seeing certain players be traded twice in the same season and then again in a subsequent season in MLB 16.

Is the "first Major League homerun," but still present? If so, how do you go about making sure it doesn't happen? I know it's been there the past couple years but I can't remember the sequence of events that cause it to pop up. I want to make sure it doesn't happen as I (as I'm sure many of us) are beginning franchise mode tonight/soon.
