Does any one know if you can be a top prospect in RTTS? Can you get the little icon beside your name?

In Franchise how do I use the new "Critical Situations" feature they added this year? Does it appear in-game in the menus, or before you even begin?

Are there any more mission rewards for offline franchise that open up besides the default franchise starter rewards.

Using the default settings, is there some trick to getting runners to advance on hits more than one base? I press L1 to advance all but they always seem to stop at the next base and then try and advance, which leads to most of them getting thrown out. Balls hit into the gap aren't nearly as valuable as they should be since I can't seem to get all my baserunners to take more than one base when I want them to. Also had a runner on third try to steal home without me sending him.

Nope and I saw them say on twitter that they won't be adding any more as the year goes on. Just a tutorial really, not much more than that

jmaj315: For foreign born players (except Canada) they care about having compatriots as opposed to location. So if you have a Cuban on your team, getting more Cubans on the team will raise their location morale.

sportomatic75: You can set up critical situations before you start a franchise, or you can toggle it by hovering over the calendar and pressing Square. You'll see a graphic in the top right of the calendar tile indicating if Critical Situations is toggled on or off.

LionsFan01: If you want runners to advance, you should be holding L1, not pressing it. You can also highlight a player with the left stick and press the corresponding base you want them to run to (with x being home plate) if you want to control an individual runner.

Is that fish thing out in center field in the Marlins stadium supposed to go off when the Marlins hit a home run? I allowed four home runs to them in a DD cpu game and not once did that thing light up or even move.

Well it works in franchise/quick play. Maybe it's just broken in DD.

Sorry, but that's totally unacceptable. It would literally take minutes for a developer to add fatigue to the in-game lineup screen. Maybe they forgot, that's fine. Update it in the next patch.
I can't speak for SDS but in my opinion fatigue is normally only something i consider when I set my lineup before the game. Unless a player is exceptionally fatigued already, it won't change dramatically enough during the game to warrant removing a player. Maybe that's why it's there at the start. Just my opinion though.

Maybe, but for a game trying to be as realistic as it can (case in point: those Adidas batting gloves), isn't it weird that we can't know the state of our players in-game?

Imagine MLB implements a new rule: The only time managers may ask their players how they're feeling is right before the game starts. After that, they can only give signs, make substitutions, and other manager stuff. If they forget some bench player has extremely low fatigue, that's on the manager for not remembering the pre-game report, which gets shredded when the umpire says "play ball!" And of course, the player is not allowed to argue or remind the manager before being forced into a game unprepared and susceptible to injury.

How ridiculous would that be? Would any owner, manager, or even the players union ever allow that rule?

Think about it this way: showing fatigue in game would take all of 10 minutes to implement, if that. It's so easy for them to add the fatigue bars to the in-game lineup. I can't imagine any justifiable reason for intentionally not showing it. That some customers don't care about seeing fatigue in-game isn't a good enough excuse.

So it's kind of like how there are no real managers or coaches in DD either? It's not a full fleged more? It's odd that they don't have those things in DD. I'll check other ballpark home run stuff like sliding down the slide in Milwaukee.

Or you could just look at the beginning of the game where it shows all your player fatigue and make your decisions then. Pretty sure fatigue for position players does not change in game. Only goes down before the next game. So this seems like another thing that would unnecessarily clutter the game. If someone is tired before the game don't play them, it's pretty simple.

Using your logic, why have player ratings in-game? You could just look at the beginning of the game where it shows all your player ratings and make your decisions then. Pretty sure player ratings for position players do not change in game. Only goes down or up before the next game. So this seems like another thing that would unnecessarily clutter the game. If someone has a bad rating before the game don't play them, it's pretty simple.

It blows my mind that customers could actually prefer to not be able to see fatigue in-game. I understand forgetting or just not having enough time to put it in, but to actually not want it? No wonder this game has the issues it does.
