How far do you think the longest HR you can hit in Home Run Derby mode is? 507 ft is the longest i have hit one.

Though to be fair, I'm sure the patches made to this game has nerfed the home run quite a bit, to the point that people stopped posting their distances for me to upload.

I think it's safe to say we won't see the 600 foot home run anymore though.

Can someone link me info on how to control all 30 teams, how to manually injure a player, and what players were injured at the start of this season.

Come on man. If you're not going to offer an answer then please refrain from responding. This type of post serves no purpose. He asked a legitimate question. No reason for the sarcastic response.

My post had more to do with the fact that he repeated the same question three times in a span of 13 minutes.

How do you climb walls or reach over walls? And is there a quicker way to turn a double play than just triangle and circle?

To climb walls to rob homeruns you use the R-stick.

Reaching over walls in foul territory is done automatically. There is nothing you can press.

As for quicker double plays, you can preload your throws but you still press triangle and circle

I preload my throws on basically every throw but I didnt know if I shouldnt charge it full if it makes it quicker for the throw to come out or not.

Charging it full will make for a harder throw, but will also increase the chance of an errant throw.

I saw that fans in the stands are wearing a personalized jersey now, instead of "player 0."

Has anyone cracked the code as to how the game decides which player's jersey to use? I know that Dozier (MIN), Archer (TB), Verlander (DET), and O. Herrera (PHI) are some of the ones I've seen.

Seems like All-Star appearances in the previous year might be responsible? It can't be highest rating because Odubel is not the highest rated Philly, but he was an All-Star last year.

Does anyone know if the jersey changes from year to year? If I were to deal Verlander, would the fans pick a new Tiger somehow? Or if you fantasy draft, do the fans pick a new franchise player to wear?

How do i get saves with my closer? I've waited till the batter comes to the plate in the 9th to bring in my closer and also subbed him in the 8th inning to come in right away in the 9th and I'm not getting saves recorded. Is there a bug I'm unaware of?

What is the score/situation when he enters the game?

Rules are...

1. He is the final pitcher in a game won by his team.
2. He is not the winning pitcher.
3. He pitches at least 1/3 of an inning.
4. He satisfies one of the following conditions.

• Enters the game with a lead of no more than 3 runs and pitches for at least one inning
• Enters with the potential tying run on base, at bat, or on deck
• Pitches at least 3 innings

Unless your lead is higher than 3 when he enters, he's not eligible for a save except in case 4.2 (possible tying run on base, at bat or on deck).

You are probably winning by more than 3 runs with the bases empty when you bring in your closer. Bring in the closer for the 7th/8th/9th and you'll get saves no matter the score. The old fashioned way.

I have a quick Roster Question.

If I want a roster with all updated Transactions and Ratings. And I want to put a Free Agent (Lincecum, Peavy, Bourn, Nathan) back on a team.

But at this point these players have been removed from the Free Agent Pool.

How can I get those players back into the game and onto an updated roster?

I got the show17 yesterday. The game will download but will not install. Can't even launch it to get to the demo game.
