Also i wondering about the team-role "depth" in franchise mode. I have alot of players with team-role expectation "depth", but i can't figure out how i can give this guys this role

another question i have is about player-photos. when i trade a player in franchise-modus, the real player-picture in-game is disappeared and i see only a facegen. is there a way to fix this? I love to play with real player pictures as it makes the game more immersive for me.

Depends on players natural position. For example, a starting pitcher will be satisfied with a role in the bullpen, whereas a relief pitcher will be ok with being on AAA.

In general Depth is a good expectation from those that won't be a starter, regardless of whether it's on the bench or in the minors.

I always try to sign people to an expectation that is one step below where I expect to play them. That way I can still get the morale boost and am covered if things don't go according to plan. Since depth is the lowest possible expectation, I have a lot of players signed with their expectation being depth.

Is there any way to add created players to an offline season roster or save the current roster to a season that is in progress. I like to play the retire season against the computer. But I like to keep my roster up to date. In the past. I could edit players names and stuff and create new players to keep my roster correct I just care about my roster not all the teams.

There isn't a way of uploading an updated/current roster into an existing franchise mode. You still have the ability to edit created players throughout franchise mode. Just keep in mind that if you edit a player in any way, his progression/regression will reset.

I have not played the show since mlb 14 after buying it every year. I was thinking of purchasing the ps4 version this year and had some questions about the player lock feature. Can you still view the entire game if so chosen by using player lock or is it only your at bat's, running the bases and plays in the field? Thanks for your replies!
