Two questions:

Just to confirm once and for all regarding Analog Batting w/zone; the right analog controls the stride and swing and the stride difficulty sliders are present. Correct?

I hadn't bought 15 and 16 due to the total removal of Analog/Zone batting controls, then I saw somewhere it was a day 1 patch for 16'..

Pitch Speed has been a topic in the game already, anyone familar with maximum pitch speed notice or suspect a difference or is it all the same?

Yes, PS4 Pro only.

However, I play with a regular PS4 and have noticed a significantly better frame rate this year.

I agree it is better, just watching mill's stream all weekend and the high frame rate was ridiculously smooth.

I'm trying to load my RTTS player who I played a lot last year into 2017, but I'm getting an error that says "this save file was not advanced at least one calendar year in the previous release."

This doesn't make any sense because I've played every single game with this player through 2022, can anyone explain what I'm doing wrong?

In CPU v. CPU, can you change the camera angle from whatever the default setting is?

Was not possible last year, though it was in previous iterations.

That's basically saying that you only played games from the 2022 season, in The Show 16. Does that sound about right? This happens with franchise carry-overs too. If you played more than 1 season in The Show 16, I'm not sure why you're getting the error message.

If you happen to have The Show 16, you can sim (or play) to January 2023 (or Spring Training), save off, and you should be able to import your save. It's a pain, I know, depending on what month you're in. Hopefully you are in the off-season or playoffs.

Yeah, sounds like a bug. Post it in the Bugs & Glitches thread if you get a moment.

Although, I do think advancing it til the next spring would work. I say that because my 2023 RTTS carried over without issue, but I happened to be at Opening Day in the save. I may try to go back to a mid-season save and see what happens.
