if you hit a high homerun to left at fenway, does the camera finally pan up and show the ball?
Or do you still only see the wall??

Nope...unfortunately it still runs smack into the wall a lot. You'll get a better view of the ball's flight from Dynamic.

It's basically the same problem at Wrigley if you hit one to the streets.

Re: MLB The Show 17 Q&A

Guys/Girls I have a couple of quick questions:

I have an 11 year old son that is interested in playing (FINALLY I have a built in playing partner! LOL), but he is very new to a baseball video game. My question is if I use dynamic difficulty, can that be done for 2 people playing the same franchise where one person may be at All Star level and the other in Veteran? Can I even play 2 people on one ps4 in one franchise? I know I can control all teams, but wondering if there can be 2 separate profiles in one franchise?

I know this may be crazy but does anyone else kinda like 16 better? Idk if I just can't get the 4k resolution down or what. Is anyone else's 4k seem slower? I kinda like high frame rate better

When doing a mound visit, is there an amount of time you have to wait for it to affect confidence and/or the warm-up pitcher to get warm?

            I'm assuming it's instantaneous?

Is there any way to turn off the blue arrows that show up when using directional hitting and trying to influence your swing w/ left analog stick?

              Thanks!

Did anything change as far as bullpen warming up? I notice my relievers warming up and when I go back into the bullpen the "warming up" is gone and I can have them warm up. Does the game automatically not make them over warm up?

What is the difference between holding the steal button and tapping it?

Does timing matter? I either release it or tap it when the pitcher is going throw his delivery.

Does adjusting the lead off really make a difference. I never do it because usually if I just take the one step the cpu is going to try and pick me off.
There is a slider that makes steal reads better (meaning they run more quickly after the pitcher starts his leg lift to pitch). The steal rating plays a big part in that, too. That determines the player's jump. So even fast players with a low steal rating will struggle to steal bases.

As for the mechanics, holding the steal button is for manual steal. When doing this, the runner will attempt to steal as soon as you release the trigger. Tapping the steal button has the CPU decide when the runner will attempt to steal. For leading off, the CPU does seem to pick a lot when you take an extra step, which is annoying. I will only extend my lead with guys that have a 70+ steal rating, because they are much less likely to get picked off. I will also try to wait until the pitcher comes set sometimes to take my lead, hoping that they'll be less likely to throw over.

Some tips for stealing.. try to steal when you think the pitcher will throw an off-speed pitch. That takes a little bit longer to get to the plate and is more likely to be thrown in the dirt. Don't be afraid to go back if you think you got a bad jump. In real life, baserunners are taught to turn a bad steal read into a secondary lead, rather than just go and get thrown out easily.

                          Hope that helps.

I got a strikeout with 2 different players (Arenado and Parra) but the trophy didn't unlock. I even finished the game. I didn't switch teams, played 9 innings, etc.

My controller died and I connected a different one.

                              Anyone have this issue?

                              Am I missing something?
