I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Alright thanks. I'll do the work around once I start my franchise just in case.

The glitch is when you hit a homerun in franchise mode the stat overlay will say 1st career homerun. To avoid this you have to play the first at bat of the 3 Sunday games on April 2. Just play out the very first at bat of each game and sim to the end. That fixes the issue.

I've been wondering this for years now; why aren't pitchers allowed unlimited warmups when another pitcher gets hurt? Matty V even said my pitcher would have all the time he needed to warm up but it was the standard 8 pitches. What gives?

I have a general baseball question. Are you allowed to throw out a baserunner on a walk with 2 outs and a full count? I thought "the wheel is in motion" or the "merry-go-round" happens in a situation with 2 outs and runners on with a full count. I don't understand that rule. I thought also that when you walk a hitter, the baserunners already on are ruled dead and cannot be thrown out. Can someone explain? This is the only rule that I can't figure out and it bugs me as a lifelong baseball fan

If this has been mentioned before my bad. But is assist baserunning broken? Had a few times where my player would freeze when there was a pickoff attempt and my player didn't go back to the base on a fly ball.

Hope I'm understanding your questions correctly....

If a runner(s) is forced to the next base because of a walk, they can't be thrown out at that base. Example: Runners on 1st and 2nd, batter walks. Runners are awarded 2nd and 3rd respectively, Batter goes to 1st and no play can be made at those bases. This is why teams always send the runner on 3-2 with 2 out - there's no risk of being thrown out on a steal because a strikeout ends the inning, a walk is a free base, and a hit basically guarantees a runner scores from 2nd (or 1st, if it's in a gap). Once they reach those bases, they are again fair game. If something happens with the defense (wild pitch, throwing error back to the pitcher, etc.) they can try to advance at their own risk.

If they are NOT forced they advance at their own risk. Example: Runner on 2nd, batter walks. Runner at 2nd can try to advance if the catcher misplays the ball, but does so at his own risk.

Both of these scenarios can happen in the Show if the catcher makes a misplay - when that happens in the game, the ball is never "dead".

I probably made that sound a lot more complicated than it is but I wanted to cover all the bases (pardon the pun).

It's just a visual glitch. Your pitcher comes in fully warm, so you don't need any pitches to actually get him ready. The game just doesn't show it correctly.

Does anyone know definitively (preferably from a dev) which sliders affect your CPU controlled teammates in RTTS? Is it the user sliders or CPU sliders?

                          Stanton moon shot

Stanton just hit a moon shot on Archie Bradley in my franchise. It went on top of the roof at Marlins park and then out of the stadium. How is this only 421 feet? Nuts!

Whoops, I meant to put this in the general thread. Anyway this can be moved there?

                                Hi there!
As a The-Show-newbie I've got some problems with the game:
                                - Some of the settings (audio/video) are locked? Where can I change that?
                                - Where can I adjust the screen size? There are some big black bars around the screen and I see no option to change that?
