Honestly man....I don't care what difficulty you play on....getting a perfect game is tricky as heck and is still an achievement. One borderline pitch goes against you, one little flare drops, you're done.

One White Whale remains for me....the "big kahuna"....winning the World Series in a "play every game" franchise.

The closest I came was in MLBTS19, where I made it to the WS, but then got swept.

I'm doing an Orioles franchise this year....this white whale may live a while longer

I've been playing on MOM for 15 years now since The Show 2006 with my beloved Rangers and yet have never even been to a World Series. I've come close, in 2015 I got to Game 7 of the ALCS and lost. So my White Whale is to get to the World Series. I play a game and sim 3. Usually get through about 5 seasons every cycle, yet not 1 World Series Appearance

I just started a Colorado franchise that I am playing on MLB20 and using no DH in the NL. Opening day vs SD and Darvish is carving me up. No hitter thru 4 innings and 8 K with 2 walks. But I can't hit anything. I am playing on Allstar+. I finally started settling in a little bit and seeing the ball a bit better. Got a hit and walked in the 5th but couldn't do anything. In the 6th my pitcher, Gomber leads off and on a 2-2 count blasts a solo homerun to tie the game over the right field wall. First time hitting a homerun with a pitcher. That was pretty cool after I couldn't hit anything and striking out a total of 15 times to hitting a homerun with a pitcher. We end up holding on for the win 3-2.

I have NEVER done it though...

              This is on default sliders.
After years of trying, I finally did it!

Not only did I catch my white whale, I blew it out of the water!

              162 games, 576 ABs, 122 BBs, 78 Ks.

              Difficulty: AS+
              Sliders: Default

This is huge for me since I used to be such a free swinger that I was LUCKY to get 20 walks in a season!

Think my next goal will be to hit .400 on AS+....best I have ever done is .380.

How was the coverage/commentary for it? When I got mine, albeit a good few years ago, it was very underwhelming.

Perfect game on legend is my biggest white whale.

I’ve done almost everything else but this has been the only thing still on my list

Managed to finally hit for the cycle, and didn't even realize I had done it. Wasn't until the next game when I saw it mentioned on the crawl about Bo Bichette hitting for a cycle in the Blue Jays' win. So, went back to the box score and sure enough, I had.

My White Whale of pitching a perfect game came so tantalizingly close to becoming a reality! One out away and alas, it was not to be. My man, Stroman, was getting close to running on fumes, but I kept him in just for history's sake and he almost pulled it off. I tried to bust Langeliers down and in, in hopes of inducing a ground ball for the final out, but he was able to get out in front of it and pull a solid line drive between third and short.
