Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
Jays fan here, so also wearing goggles.
However, Donaldson and Osuna have been discussed in this thread. If you're in 2017, and both are performing to career norms, you're looking at a good haul for both.
Donaldson to the Mets, for example, has been discussed for Amed Rosario+. Osuna has been discussed for a package headlined by Fedde of the Nationals+. Stats for both would be appreciated, as they help in terms of developing value. In a vacuum however, both are seriously valuable assets. Stats will help give you secondary pieces.
Edit: Totally skipped over Tulo and Martin!
Tulo doesn't have a ton of value. His bat is dropping off rapidly and he got paid. Ditto Martin, who gives lots of value as a game caller and veteran presence, as well as a strong OBP guy. He probably carries more ancillary value to the Jays than he does as a trade chip, but he probably fetches more than Tulo. I would recommend keeping both, as they hold more value in game than they do as trading pieces, unless you want to completely burn it down.
I was looking pretty full playing for 2019 FA class. so Martin/Tulo I was hoping to trade for younger assets. I don't really have much behind them unless I trade for something MLB ready.
Osuna is 1-3 19 SV 2.70 ERA in 31 innings
Donaldson is .294/373/573 22 homerun/ 62 RBI
I wasn't looking at miller/chapman deal for last year for osuna but thought his years of control should make the deal even better.
Donaldson I wasn't sureComment

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
Currently running a Braves franchise. Looking for Ace options with years of control as I am in the race for the NL East. Trade packages and pitchers for the deal are escaping me outside of Gray. Standings are similar to real life outside of ATL)Comment

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
The big ones are gonna be Gray, Chris Archer, Michael Fulmer and Gerrit Cole depending on how the Pirates, Tigers and Rays are doing. Quintana too if he hasn't been moved in your franchise. The real life Quintana deal is a good start to model it after, so probably Acuna/Gohara is a good start. Greinke could be had if ARI is out of it, although that would be more of a salary dump, as would Justin Verlander.Comment

Alex Reyes, Harrison Bader, and Kolten Wong would be my best guess if you wanna start Gyorko at 2ndComment

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
Something like this- Josh Donaldson for Alex Reyes, Harrison Bader, Alvaro Seijas, Bryce Denton
Is that too much or too little? (Both Seijas and Denton are C potential)Last edited by pickle2002; 07-24-2017, 04:43 PM.Comment

Who is the best team to use for a rebuild? I want a team that I can get some A potential players in return and B potential players. The White Sox seem great, but I don't won't a team that is already in the middle of a tear down, I want a team that I can has great players that are on a team that needs to be tore down.Comment

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
Michael Fulmer is far and away the best fit for Atlanta. The Braves are built for 2019 and beyond and Fulmer is controllable for through 2022.
I think it's crazy for anyone to trade a guy with that much control but the rumour is that if you take on one of the Tigers terrible contracts you can get Fulmer. The worse the contract the less you have to give up, although he'll still be expensive.

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
Ok I'm nearing the 2018 trade deadline in my Braves franchise. I'm looking for a way to deal Matt Kemp so I can replace him with Acuna who is raking in AAA. I'm obviously not expecting anything of note back in return, but I hate to just release Kemp because I believe he could still help an AL team as a DH. Standings are fairly similar to real life right now with the exception of the Rangers clearly being in it and the Twins clearly being out. I'd be willing to take on bad contracts to facilitate a move as long as it freed up the spot for Acuna. Any ideas would be appreciated.Comment
