I appreciate that they have been replying but a simple statement more than once a day on their main twitter account would go a long way to alleviating some of the frustration many are feeling.

And even then, MOST of those responses are about people not receiving their packs or something along those lines. I just want answers on when I can play a game online without it freezing or just general connectivity lol

If you look through their replies you. An see they've been responding all day to people.

Not really about the extremely slow moving menus though. They actually haven't even addressed the slowness of the servers at all. Unless I'm missing it. I don't consider their tweet about "consistently being able to get into matches" about that either. Their servers can't handle the work load and that needs to be acknowledged with a possible solution.

Last night I just gave up on tweaking my DD lineup because whenever I hit triangle to get a look at the players card it would have to access the server and took a minute or more just to open the card.

Saw your post above. Why should people just be content that it's a bad online game?

People pay $60 all the time for games that are not online. I'm having a blast with this game and not using online. Yes they need to get it fixed but I can't imagine giving up on this game as good as it is for a principle.

I agree. it's an awesome sports game offline only though. but that isn't good enough these days or for me at least.. I am a gamer who is only interested in playing online and mainly vs my friends in sports leagues or whatever... every sports game should work decent online these days. MLB the Show is so far behind the times it's embarrassing. PES is a great game offline as well but I don't buy it because online sucks.

Me and my friends bought MLB the show this year specifically to play online against eachother.. that's it.. nothing more.. it shouldn't be this hard to h ave online functional for 1 v 1 play...

i mean it's sad when nHL and FIFA can easily play 6 v 6 in one game with no problem but this game has issues even getting a 1 v 1 game going successfully.

the developers of this game MLB the SHow have stated that their most improved mode from last year to this year is DD.... weird considering you have to be able to connect online to their servers to even get into DD

All fair points indeed, I just have never been able to get The Show to work well online since I've played it so it's something I've come to accept and I went into this years game knowing that.

With that being said they do need to at least get connecting to the game online working for rewards, xp, bonuses, etc. That's completely different than head to head online play in my view.

I only play online so for me it's a must that it works. I haven't played a offline franchise in years and don't plan too. I just love competitive online ranked games in any sports title.

Not exactly a fair suggestion. This game is advertised as having online functionality. Just because you don't use the online part, doesn't mean that its not a legitimate gripe that the servers are bad right now. I am patient with it, but I can certainly understand frustrations with it and to the point that it should just be shrugged off as "why don't you just play offline and be happy". Just my .02

I agree it's definitely a legitimate gripe. People most certainly should be demanding that they fix the online. No doubt about that.

Just to clarify, I wasn't saying "just be happy and play it offline" I was saying I don't believe the game is worth giving up on completelym, forever, just because of the online portion aspect right now.

That'd be a real shame IMO.

Frankly I'm astonished that so many folks play this online. My buddies and I have tried this on and off through the years and the lag is always a bit too much to really make it an enjoyable experience. Just to clarify, it's not our connections as we all play FIFA, NHL, Madden etc without any issues so we just figured that's how this game was.

I always just though this game was not played by many people online because of how it has worked.

I don't know, maybe in the past we've just tried to play online too close to the release of the game and ran into some lag but I've never pegged this as a game anyone really played online. No one that I game with ever goes online with it.

My buddies and I have tried this on and off through the years and the lag is always a bit too much to really make it an enjoyable experience. Just to clarify, it's not our connections as we all play FIFA, NHL, Madden etc without any issues so we just figured that's how this game was.

But as I said there is more to online than Head to Head even though that is the biggest aspect to it.

Diamond Dynasty is actually the second most played mode after RTTS.

Even Conquest, which is a player vs CPU mode has to register results back to the server and even that is having issues.

Missions for Franchise and offline DD modes have to report back to the server to register results and that is having issues.

Just browsing my DD lineup, looking to make some tweaks last night was unbearably slow.

There is so much more to online than just PvP games.

He put a whoopin on me lol

He did have the advantage of auto fielding and baserunning, but still....

While the game is great, if online doesnt get fixed, it wont be in system very long. I'll go back to play NHL (which is such a downgrade this year) or Madden where I can play online.

Diamond Dynasty is a cash cow for SCEA and if anything this is costing them tons of money. I enjoyed the game for the first time online last year and it was a blast to play.
