I've been playing all afternoon 1-6 central time and I had no problems with the online aspects of the game. Ran as smooth as silk. Hope that means this issue is behind us now.

Different game same crap. As soon as everyone gets off the servers go to crap.

I can deal with the lag and possibly even the dropped games with the servers getting flooded, but SDS not saying a peep and the no sense or urgency to let the consumer to know what's going on and be left in the dark is very troubling. Not saying they have lost a customer with myself but i can see where some first time buyers wont be returning next year for their product and i cant say i blame them.

Servers are 50 / 50 today... Epic fail Sony.... Today it was better...

I say 20 free paks or something. LoL.

Does anyone know if they will be able to restore our lost rank XP? Mine was resetted!

Some to be having that same trouble as well, thankfully I haven't ran into that.

I think there has to be some kind of compensation for those who struggle through launch. I think a 10 packs is in order.

I'd also love to see a goofy special mission added. Something that reward actively struggling 2-3 hours through the menu to achieve actually nothing useful. Must lead to gold or better! Must be named "launch day deja vu" or something like that!

The menus have been hell, taking 30 mins to set up lineups and move cards around on the market. It's gotten better though to today for at least.

Load times are like on the PS1. Sony servers are doing the best Xbox Live impression ever....

Shame the game is really good when "huge when" it works...

Yeah I can play online franchise games. But none are simming atm, third consecutive day where around this time 4PMCT-present has been impossible to do so.

I just had a game end mid pitch in the 2nd inning. No record of the game. Frustrating as all hell. Three days and counting and still can't trust the game.

i had one similar, was in the top of the 3rd, i was pitching, the opponent flyball to center, caught it, threw it back in, then the camera just stayed on the centerfielder and that was that. I couldnt pause or anything, i had to close application and reopen and the game was not counted. the frustrating part was, i was up 2-0 and had a hit with the all star Joc Pederson(the one to get the gold reward)

Seemed better today for me in online franchise. Yesterday I loaded up a game and before I could pick oitchers it booted me. Game remained in progress and didn't reset for 3.5 hours.

As someone who owns both consoles (because they both have things they do well and im not a blind fanboy) live is way better then psn as an online platform in everyway and its not even close.

Agreed. If this was a Microsoft exclusive this would be fixed by now. Shame really. I tried playing one game tonight. Hit a bases clearing double and as run #3 is crossing the plate the game just stops. The crowd is still moving then the connection was lost. Should have just not bothered like I said earlier. Waste of time.

Edit: actually it probably wouldn't even have happened. They run online betas and alphas of their online games for a reason.

What amazes me is its the same exact problems every year.

Challenge failed, games not giving results. Games "freezing" and not able to continue. We are about to be on day 4, and I HATE the feeling of playing an entire game, and hoping it wasnt for absolute nothing.

No doubt. I remember last year anytime I'd have the lead in the late innings I always rushed to get the game done before it froze. Then after the game waiting to see if it actually counted.
