Ok enough is enough. No more warnings, no more deleting posts if you all cant follow TOS then it is time to go. Millennium has posted several times that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated and it needs to stop. People are now going on leave from OS.

I just fired it up and seen that the did fix the Rangers Batting Helmets. The Rangers went to Matte Helmets this year, and previously the game still had the Flossy Helmets. Using the Red Unis now I see the Matte helmet on Carlos Gomez so that's good. Unfortunately I bet the Red Sleeves and undergarments arent switched to Red when using the home White Unis with Red Hats and Alt 1 Pants. That still annoys the piss out of me.

Hopefully this fixes the funky OSD's that show some fast balls with a 756 Inch Break on the Show Tracker, and also fixes the Incorrect teams and divisions showing up when they look at the standings in between innings. Ive had one time where I was playing the Royals, and the announcers said "lets look at the standing in the AL Central", and the OSD Said AL Central, but had all the teams from the AL East in there. Also there was a time where they were talking about the AL West Standings and once again, it said AL West, and had all the AL East teams shown on the screen. Perhaps a little East Coast bias? lol

im a MOM player and i love how they dummed down the power! seeing infielders have to make great plays even saw my pitcher take a flip from the best Adrian Gonzales to cover 1st!!! you see once every 10 games hoping to see it now. i need to tell my pitchers in the show to skip PFP and go play some golf never needed in this game!

I haven't been able to download the patch because the family is playing Zelda. Love that game too.

Also, I agree with u 100% that home runs weren't an issue pre patch. And, frankly, because I don't use QC's I can't say I'm having problems with starting pitchers being removed too soon.

My only complaint is pitches in the dirt that result in runners advancing. While I think it needs addressing I hope they don't completely remove it. Sometimes I think folks would love to bury change ups in the dirt without repercussion.

Are you playing Zelda on Switch? The beauty of that system is they can play BOTW in handheld mode while you play The Show on the big screen. I am over 200 hours in and still haven't done everything. Might be the best game I've ever played.

Are you playing Zelda on Switch? The beauty of that system is they can play BOTW in handheld mode while you play The Show on the big screen. I am over 200 hours in and still haven't done everything. Might be the best game I've ever played.

Lol. I use the switch when I'm working and they play on the WiiU at home. They don't want to give up the 75 inch TV!

You shouldn't have to mess about with sliders for the game to work properly though

Let's not live in utopia though...it's a good thing that the game allows us to modify key elements to our own liking. Pitch speed is an example wherein some folks are fine on default meanwhile my old eyes must have it at zero.

League Leader category does show and the stats are correct in what I saw so far.

Idk if this has been mentioned already, but big thanks to the team for making the Orioles helmets a matted material, little things like that make this game the best.

Did you try your idea/fix on the sound of the bat issue (raising solid hits to 10)? Curious if that fixed it.

A weak sound of the bat really kills the immersion.

Nope. Does not work at all.

It's no doubt an audio bug. Adam SDS already acknowledged it is being looked into for a future patch on TheSHowNation.

I am confident it will be patched back to the out of the box audio. It is totally FUBAR and sounds like a broken bat, a distorted high frequency sound. It also is clipping for you audio nuts out there who know what I am talking about.

SO glad they acknowledged it right away. And those are sometimes the unintended warts of patches.

So we shall wait for 1.05 to fix it. Other than that....I am loving this game.

The hit variety now is excellent. The power is definitely toned down as well. But the hitting was noticeably different to me.

Seems like a significant patch.

As for some of the issues people are seeing--folks, get comfortable with the idea of adjusting sliders. They are there for a reason. The default settings are never ideal. In some cases, default is nowhere close to ideal (manager hook at zero + increased SP stamina has always worked for me in getting realistic SP outings). The ratings of your players and game situation also matters.

I agree, I havent played yet since the patch, and while I am somewhat worried by what Im hearing that the SP being pulled to early when using QC isnt fixed.
However I do think people need to play several games before jumping the gun on this, because as you said different situations can and will impact games differently, and if CPU managers are supposedly smarter this yr, they will treat every situation different. Could be the pitchers thats on the mound dictates whether he gets pulled early, or not. We see this all the time anymore, SP's getting pulled fairly quick to the way it use to be, and managers trust Ace's far more than they do back end of the rotation starters. So maybe thats impacting certain pitchers being pulled early.

I use QC only anymore, and while I did think there was a issue with SP getting pulled early, it wasnt quite as bad as some here saying they were seeing SP getting yanked after 3 or 4 innings. Now days outside of your Ace's, most SP's are 6-7 inning pitchers, especially in the NL with having no DH.

Also as you said, do some slider adjusting to managers hook and stamina, to see if that can fix it, typically with this game, these have always been the sliders that needed tweak each yr with this game. Not that we should have to adjust sliders to fix broken games, it at times is our only hope with games.

Also WTNY, I just noticed you put hell froze over under your name, that gave me a good laugh. That definitely has been the old saying even before I was born about the Cubs, was hell would freeze over before the Cubs were to win a WS, or if they were to win, that meant that the end times that is spoken of in the Bible was near. Hell didnt freeze over, although I dont want to jinx anything on the other old saying, so I will leave that 1 alone,lol. Anyway Congrats on getting to see your team win, my wife and Inlaws are long time Cubs fans too
