It is absolutely ridiculous that my player hits an extra base hit in RTTS and always stops at first base! Once in a while I get him to keep running but not often.

What I'd like to see in '18

    Ball Girls
More Cub uniforms - NOTHING between 1902 and 1982 and '82 is hideous.
    LESS exploding scoreboards
Ability to challenge a call whenever I want - still following the rules in place but you can't really challenge a call now and especially at the end of an inning
Plenty more but time to go home!

As for runner not advancing on extra base hit, what baserunning method are you using?

Do they not advance when pressing L1?

Non roster invites for franchise would be really cool.
Agree with the guys saying tattoos, every sports game has them now.
Someone force Trout to get a face scan.
Huge one for me is outfield catch animations, they just aren’t any good. The running ones, even ones standing still. People just don’t catch fly balls like that.

Totally agree on the catches. It's like they move a couple of feet and oh, look what's in my glove?

L1 doesn't work for me, which makes no sense cause that's what you use in Franchise, but R1 works. Gonna go play now and double check L1. Thanks

              No problem

              Hope it works.

                1) get rid of retro mode and harold reynolds

                2) fix the dead space during play on the commentary; too much time goes by where nobody says anything

                3) also, the statistical tidbits that are on the scoreboard about the batters should be listed under the player between pitches while they're at bat

I have spent the time posting minute suggestions (like pitcher covering first more) but I think the most important area that needs massive work is on AI, which has always been the case.

The computer manager manages generically and disjointed from the game. Situational pinch-hitting and use of the bullpen where there is some sort of rhyme or reasoning would be welcome.

I just have to share an example: I was playing game 1 of the ALCS of my Indians' franchise vs. the Red Sox. Excellent game, 2-2 in the 9th. I have to practically deplete my bullpen to get through the top of the 9th keeping the score tied. Bottom of the 9th, the Red Sox bring in Heath Hembree. After his first pitch, MV states that Kimbrel is warming in the pen. Next pitch, Austin Jackson lines a 2-1 pitch down the leftfield line for a double, no Kimbrel. A wildpitch sends Jackson to 3rd, no Kimbrel. Now, at this point a bevy of strategic moves could be made including possibly loading up the bases, but nothing. Naquin lines the first pitch over Benintendi's head for the walk-off win. Maybe Ferrell froze and he will get grilled by his decision, and eventually fired after my Tribe sweep them, but I have to think this is really just a good example of how the managerial AI is not synced with what is really going on in the game, like about every other common situation that occurs in the game of baseball.

One more ding on the AI, it would be nice to see the CPU adjust the defense. Sure you see the radical shift on occasion, infield in, DP, but nothing else.

I just wanna see 2 things:

                      1. Analog Pitching gets a huge bump in difficulty. Its like 5 years in a row now I lead the league in fewest walks allowed using that mode. Analog Pitching is beautiful to use except for how easy it is to find the strike zone. Just increase the lateral error range and I'll be happy.

                      2. Re-done commentary. Remove all the "overanalyzing" lines about pointless things like a pitch being thrown. Let the game speak for itself like how real commentators do. You watch a real game and the commentator doesn't discuss a swinging strike probably not even once the entire game. You play MLB The Show and every single swing is followed-up with dialogue. It gets very grating. I don't have a problem with the people/voices, just the lines. Not every little thing needs to be dissected and discussed.

I suggest a miss in/miss out slider for pitching.

We have pitcher accuracy and wildness sliders, but I find that adjusting these doesn't seem to affect what I am looking at.

This slider would change where pitches miss. Move it to the left and missed pitches miss will be out of the zone. Move it to the right and they miss in the zone.

I notice all too often poor pitchers seem to miss in the zone even when I am trying to deliberately throw out of the zone, resulting in fewer walks and more rocket hits. Now I use classic pitching, so maybe that's a contributing factor, but I think a slider such as this would remedy the problem a lot of people have where they are not walking enough hitters or drawing too few walks themselves.

Also, there should be an option to signal a pitch around. If you select this then the effect on confidence should be eliminated or greatly reduced. If I am deliberately throwing outside the zone then I shouldn't be penalized as much, if at all.

+1 on rotating interleague schedules. Random schedules season to season in franchise mode please!

+1 on quick counts and number of pitches thrown when bringing in a new pitcher.

Improve the roster AI management in game and during simmed games.

More in game player celebrations on hits and scoring runs.

Replace or add player/coach celebrations after a win. Gets repetitive after a while. A bit annoying.

Fix the eye movement of the players/coaches/umpires in the game. They look off and not very realistic at times.

                          More batting and fielding animations.

Instead of selecting quick counts before a game starts, add a universal option to enable this for all games.

Before a game is loaded a number of stat screens (who's hot and cold, pitching matchups etc..) are shown in season or franchise mode. However, not enough time is given to view all of these stats before a game starts. Add a pause or press "X" to continue to give the player time to view these stats.

                            Editable draft classes.
                            Easily editable Player options.
Fully featured single A ball with playable teams and 25-man rosters.

An in-game ratings generator for players where you could input the average stats you expect him to have in the next season and the game would spit out the ratings that will make it happen.

More generic stadiums. Give me a huge, empty, cavernous closed dome with artificial turf and the scoreboard at center field (no seats) so I can have my Olympic Stadium replacement!

I would like to see the show 18 offer a franchise that I can keep my created players and they won't be replaced or traded.
I just want to set my roster in the beginning of the season and it just remains that way the full season.

I'm in my second season on 2017 and I must have done something wrong because they're not announcing the number of home runs in the season?
