Yes it has. The numbers for every team have always been in the same spot. It just looks lower on jerseys without names because it's more noticeable.

Yet last year they were able to adjust some teams but it didn't effect the other teams..

MLB The Show is so freaking fantastic in so many areas!!!

But when it comes to Uniforms and Stadiums there just seems to be a lot of things wrong year after year without getting fixed even after being reported.

Like for example I saw someone bring this up in another thread about how all the fans in the Rogers Centre still are wearing mostly Red shirts in 18. Do you know I sent SDS info about this issue and how most of the fans in Rogers Centre should be wearing Blue not red like 3+ years ago. And yet going by the trailers for MLB The Show 18 the fans at the Rogers Centre are still mostly wearing Red!

It's little things like this that annoy me so much year after year

Yes SDS does listen to us and does fix a lot of things but sometimes it seems to take YEARS to fix one small thing for some reason.

Do you have any proof for that claim? I'm under the impression that it changed for all teams equally. I haven't seen any evidence to the contrary.

If he did, I'll acknowledge it. I'd be glad to watch a link if you guys have one. That said, members (any number of them) of the art team not being fans of baseball isn't an issue in itself. You wouldn't have to be a fan of something to recreate it. The bigger issue is probably that there's no real way to know that specific art feedback gets heard; and even if it is, any technical limitations that currently exist that they may not be able to work around smoothly (such as the aforementioned lack of different templates).


Saying "I heard once from I think Russell himself" is just a phrase worded in a way to knock on the art team without providing an actual quote. It's loaded wording in an attempt to purposely steer the conversation.

We think that SCEA is aware of many of these issues but it seems they aren't. I saw an exchange on Ramones' twitter. In the game the Yankees don't have numbers on the batting helmets and he was asked about it. Ramone wasn't aware that the Yankees have numbers on the helmets. So alot of things are wrong in game because they don't pay attention to these things.

Are you honestly telling me they still have improper numbers on the jerseys lol? IDK man, seems a bit much at this point. You can keep claiming you are doing your job, but when jersey problems like this exist it's quite honestly pathetic after so many years.

They have been aware of improper placement of numbers basically since they started taking forum data. If it is the same this year it is clear they actually don't care about the little details. That's a pretty big detail that would have been covered by basically any other sim sports dev out there at this point. Why you can't take the time to make sure your jerseys don't look ridiculous is well beyond me to answer. Seems like it should be a pretty huge priority in a sim.

I at least hope they put the numbers on the back, and on the bill of the Yankees helmets this year. These had always been right before, and then all of a sudden they were removed. There really isn’t an excuse for them to have taken them off.

I honestly think the problem is priorities. And not that it's not a priority for them but that they have a list of priorities to get to every year and they just don't ever get the time to go that far down the list. This is the vibe I always get when they're asked why things like this, which seem like little things to us, never get fixed.

Translation: They'd love to fix it but they never have time to do so.

Well unfortunately for us bat flips are a ton more marketable than "correct jersey colors."

Correct colored jerseys isn't even a marketable thing, it's just assumed, but oh well.

IDK I think correct jerseys should just be a given for a franchise that is as solid as SCEA.

Also, no one buys the game for bat flips but there a few that aren't buying it due to they jerseys being incorrect.

Another thing that sorely needs addressed is the Mangers dugout jackets. In the video today you see Mickey Callaway (Mets manager) with the same old dugout jacket that makes him look fat. However, they have better jackets on fans in the crowd. The should have been updated versions ago. It's an eyesore.
