I'm pretty sure Gamestop have paid (in one way or another) for exclusive first dibs on handing out information though, they had first shot at it last year and it looks like that was the plan this year until something happened last week. That's why it's a bit odd, can't imagine Gamestop are that pleased at this either.

Ramone mentioned on the first or second stream that not all GameStop Monday's would be the same topic as that week's stream.

Now guys these are just Gamestop Monday's! There are just vids. Yes it is pointless after the stream, but they have video's coming out everyday from different social media sites.

Can't tell anyone on OS that though. This week will be the end of the world for many until the Franchise stream.

I know, but it makes no sense to have Gamestop Mondays and make a big deal about it if the plan was to hand out old information like this. It's far from the end of the world or even a big deal or anything, but it's clear something went slightly wrong and this isn't part of the plan

Yeah cause Gamestop not using the opportunity to market all the exciting new features in franchise mode is indicative that said features most likely exist.

Or going an alternate direction, if you think that marketing is important to the team, which I do since ads for this game are everywhere, not using the last Gamestop Monday to even acknowledge franchise mode is probably pretty indicative that there's nothing to talk about.

I'm gonna go with option B there because this isn't my first rodeo.

Why do you think something went wrong?! These things are most likely recorded weeks in advance. It was clearly stated that not all GameStop Monday's would be lined up with what the stream that week would be about. This was mentioned weeks ago and here we are, exactly as they said.

Because it makes literally no sense to release this video this week. It completely falls out of the pattern they've had for the previous videos not only this year, but last year as well. Doesn't take Columbo to spot a break in a pretty obvious pattern

Well, I wasn't expecting to start off my most anticipated week with more RTTS. Blah.

But I'm sure the RTTS people will love this. Looks good and all but Franchise is where it's at for me. I'll keep waiting.

I really hope they added to franchise this year to make it a deeper mode and not just add features that cater to people who don't want to actually play the game.

Already committed to buying this year but it's not a no-brainer like it was last year with the improved ball physics. Hopefully they have some impressive surprises up their sleeves for Franchise, otherwise I'd say this is looking to be a rather limited upgrade overall this year. Last minute reveals about PS4 Pro features, like they did last year, could also potentially be a game changer for me.


Not trying to be negative for the sake of being negative but I honestly don't think anyone on here liked this video. RTTS guys, myself included, already watched the in-depth videos about the mode. I thought these Gamestop Monday things were supposed to teasers, not retreads?

That's all well and good except for the fact that Ramone specifically stated that the GameStop Mondays this year would not always match what the stream is about that week.

Franchise mode disappointment week beginning early..

It's like they've gone beyond just catering to RTTS and DD and are now actively trying to push the Franchise mode players out of the game. Having the Gamestop Monday during Franchise week be totally unrelated to Franchise mode is really a slap in the face. Considering Online Franchise was already removed this cycle. Considering Franchise is always the last mode to get attention. Considering the game comes out in 10 days.

Each day that goes by I want to buy this game less and less.
