So there's nothing new from what we read in that blog.

I mean people can call it what they want, but franchise mode is MLB 17 in a new skin (phases). It's EXACTLY the same content just with a different way to get to it.

Looks that way. If you actually have already played the mode before then it's all just shortcuts to previously existing screens. No talk of improvements to old features either

That trade logic still looks pretty terrible as well

Menus look fantastic. Phases seem actually like a welcome addition but would’ve rather seen other things added.

we hear you franchise guys, me and such and such worked on this because we hear you guys. And in the next breath we did research(data mining), and we see you guys are not good at finding stuff so we made menus.

I mean what community are they talking to????????

Everyone I know that is into sports games wants a better franchise mode and more close to the real thing. It's what people have been downright BEGGING for over the course of MANY years.

I don't get it. I don't know of anyone even in this forum that says "we only want a more streamlined way to play franchise mode....we just want a different skin and have everything brought forefront".

I mean come on now...

They rewrote the retirement logic. I'm happy about that because the old retirement logic drove me nuts.

Hey remember that time 90% of all franchise users thoughts that the budget system from 17 was weird and garbage and wanted it changed? Well it seems they listened to us and made phases where we can go and look at the weird budget no one understand with only a half click instead of full click.

They re-wrote the players retiring logic to make it more ability based. Players with B potential won't retire at age 34 or 35.

Also, prospects will no longer retire due to "poor free agent market".

Retirement logic looks absolutely 10000000% improved. Very happy with that.
