If CP is in the game, then I imagine that the AI would give a certain weight to CP, IE, give them more leeway before stripping the closer role from them.

How would the All star voting go then?? what if all the closers were not in their role because the logic of the all star voting they have to choose 2 Closers. is it actually possible to not have any closer on a roster in franchise?? it would be good to have them all as RP

You overthink things wayyyy to much and come to conclusions too quickly on things.

You're overthinking the "position of the player" to much. In order for this logic to happen, they just need to move a RP into the CP role and the CP into a RP slot.

It can be done today. The CPU just has never done it.

have you not found that even if a CP is not in the closer role the CPU will always go with the closer anyway in a game because he is a CP not a RP??? on every single save situation, you can't just say overthinking when their is evidence there from the past and wondering how it will work

Does better lineup AI include AI teams having 9 position players and 16 pitchers on every AI controlled team? Asking for a friend.

They didn't have time explaining anything due to the fact they had to rush to the great "legend reveal". They spent about as much time revealing the legend as they did discussing "improvements" outside of the new phase gimmick.

Nothing surprising or exciting but I'm actually pretty satisfied with that. I think the logic tweaks will really help, as someone who was easily frustrated by early retirements, weird rotations and lineups, and mind boggling bullpen usage.

Did they bring back the trade delay option? and the option to view it in pending transactions screen to see if we want to veto the deal or not?

Best way to play is use 30 control - set everything but your team to AUTO, it’s the EXACT same as playing just one team.. but with the luxury of fixing anything wonky.

I tuned in mid-stream. Is it safe to say that importing newly added SCEA players into an existing franchise still hasn't made it into the game?

Still no 3 team trades or trading more than 3 players for one. I feel like we are never going to get that.

To be fair, I imagine coding trade logic is pretty complicated with all the different factors for even two team trades. Three team trades would be awesome, but I'd rather they continue to improve two team trade logic and get that working better before adding three team trades

So in summary, made the game a bit clearer for new players as to what they should be doing at each time (phases)

Improved retirement logic to be more driven by talent.

Changed closer logic so it can change to none closers in certain situations.

Improved roster/lineup logic so AI doesn't need changes forced on it by injuries/trades, now can just happen because of ratings and performance

Seemingly a higher amount of draftees each year so they don't run out.




I think that's everything?

all that was, was logic in the actual BP depth charts they showed not within an actual game... I would like to see if Chapman was sucking if they moved him to a MRP if the CPU still picked him in the 9th innings in a save situation.

currently right now we would have to change his position from CP to RP.

if in fact all this has been fixed it is pointless having the CP as a position they should all just be RP which would help fix the logic easier
