Did they bring back the trade delay option? and the option to view it in pending transactions screen to see if we want to veto the deal or not?

Nothing surprising or exciting but I'm actually pretty satisfied with that. I think the logic tweaks will really help, as someone who was easily frustrated by early retirements, weird rotations and lineups, and mind boggling bullpen usage.

I'm not sure what's not being understood here. They didn't say the reworked bullpen logic. They said they worked the logic when it comes to the CLOSER ROLE. Nothing was said about the usage of any other relievers. They just said that other relievers can be inserted in the closers role. That's all.

So in summary, made the game a bit clearer for new players as to what they should be doing at each time (phases)

Improved retirement logic to be more driven by talent.

Changed closer logic so it can change to none closers in certain situations.

Improved roster/lineup logic so AI doesn't need changes forced on it by injuries/trades, now can just happen because of ratings and performance

Seemingly a higher amount of draftees each year so they don't run out.

I think your underselling the new menus. It’s absoutley stunning the difference. And the fact they show relevant information without the digging instead of standings during offseason.. it’s a big deal (at least to me). The tidbits during offseason is also fantastic.

I also think you don’t understand the new bullpen logic but I’ll let someone else explain it.

I tuned in mid-stream. Is it safe to say that importing newly added SCEA players into an existing franchise still hasn't made it into the game?

yep I give up on it happening Ill just use my own tricks again and keep 50 players named A on the side with service time and rookies in case I have to add in a player

I was talking from the perspective of someone who already understands how the game works and knows where everything is, so moving shortcuts to things and adding explanaitons isn't a big deal to me. But I can see how it will be very helpful to newer players or anyone who hasn't fully got a handle on the old system.

Not paying $60 for new menus and bullpen logic. We've been asking for very specific items to be added to franchise mode for years. Every single year we go into Twitch and ask them, and every year they come up with a reason why they didn't.

That's what I was referring to. I've had teams where closers with terrible numbers stayed in the closer role until I went in manually and changed them to RPs/changed other relievers to closers.

I noticed that too. He looked like he was going to fall asleep, until DD news.

My interpretation was that he didn't want to steal the thunder of the two guys on the couch with him, who admitted to being huge franchise guys, and were hyped to talk about the mode.

I feel like Ramone gets excited over anything he really "talks" about, but he didn't have much of a speaking role in this stream. It's hard to convey excitement when you yourself are not really saying anything, and aren't interacting in any way with the game itself. I know I get tired watching people pour through menus, and talk about menus, and I'm a franchise nut, myself. I can't imagine the tedium for a guy whose job it is to look at them.

I give him the benefit of the doubt on this one in particular. It's possible Diamond Dynasty is his favorite mode. But I trust him, and the other devs, to genuinely give the game the most care they can.

Also weren't those two who did the work on Franchise? If Ramone didn't work on it himself I wouldn't expect him to dominate the stream.

Then don’t man. No one forces you to buy it. If you aren’t happy with it, I wouldn’t waste the money either.

I’m not happy with interleague schedules being neglected again but there were more changes than just menus. But that’s my opinion and that’s okay.

To be fair, I imagine coding trade logic is pretty complicated with all the different factors for even two team trades. Three team trades would be awesome, but I'd rather they continue to improve two team trade logic and get that working better before adding three team trades

I'm tired of this excuse for a professional dev team. As a programmer every damn thing they do is pretty complicated. NBA 2k does three way trades and trading of draft picks. I'm quite sure if SCEA wanted to take the time and implement 3 team trades into the game then they could do it easily.

As to the second highlighted selection, did they talk about improved trade logic in the stream?
