It'll be one of the first things I check once the game drops (via Player Lock mode because checking inside actual RTTS and comparing it to normal gameplay can be a bit tedious).

Also, because of how stat gains work this year I'm tempted to do an RTTS where I take nothing but power swings and see what I can make out of a guy - he shouldn't gain contact points by doing that .

So far my pitcher has done very well in his three AAA games. He is 2-0 with an ERA of 2.08 oh and he went from a last place AA team with poor run support to a very competitive AAA who can score runs. So that helps at least with the wins and losses. Perhaps I am jinxing myself as I thought AAA would be harder especially at HOF pitching. But I did start off with a decent 94 mph 4 seam fastball, my change up has always been good since day one in AA and I pumped a lot of training points into his slider control and recently added a 12-6 curve with training points added to it as well. So I am usually working ahead in the count. However I am sure I would get slaughtered in The Show if I was to go there right now and who knows what MLB 18 will be like except to say I like what was presented in the DEV stream.
I too just started a new pitcher with the aim to be in AAA ready to bring into 18.
4SFB, Sweeping Curve and Slider and will add either a Sinker or Cutter as I get to AAA and then off the journey goes

I did this screen save from 15 or 16 I didn't know at the time that I had a ghost of me in it when I took it but it turned out really cool. My favorite picture of RTTS so I thought I would share. Can't wait for tomorrow !!!

Looks like you got the shot right as the closeup transition was happening.

I'm for sure making a starting pitcher in 18.

I had pretty much always made a starting pitcher but decided to change things up last year and made a power-hitting 3B. I had a blast in AA my first year. Then got called up to the bigs at the start of year 2 and things went downhill. I was on the Texas Rangers and if I didn't go 4-4 with 2 HR and 6 RBI, it felt like we never had a chance to win. I think we lost 110 games that first year. Every time I came to bat it seemed like we were already down multiple runs. Year 2 and 3 weren't any better. I did great, but the team was putrid and we lost 100+ games every year. I demanded a trade about 300 times and never got traded. I act like a jerk all the time and demand trades every chance. I don't know why they are keeping me! I was thinking of carrying him over to 18, but I can't take the losing and the Rangers anymore.

At least as a starter I feel like I can give my team a really good shot to win every 5 days. I'm thinking of making a tall, lanky lefty with a blazing fastball and killer slider, kind of like Randy Johnson.

Same boat here, could never get the hang of previous OF cams. Think I'll start an OF career on 17 with OSFM3 and carry it over so I don't have to wait on rosters to start. I also have a catcher with half a season in but I got a little carried away with training points, so not sure I want to continue that.

They might give you a option where your agent says he has swung a deal and you can move to whatever team you pick

I have to know... will we keep our number this year if our team acquires a player with the same number? In case you're not aware, in years past if you were (for example) #3 and your team acquired another player with #3 you would move up to the next highest number. A lot of people seem to think it was based on who had the higher rating. I did not find that to be the case as my player was a 99 overall and had three jersey number changes in one season alone. It is super annoying to me and while it may be minor to some, it's virtually a deal-breaker for me on Road to The Show. Luckily, I'm mostly a franchise guy so I'll still enjoy the game. But I'd really like to be able to get into Road to The Show more... but I just can't until this is fixed.

I will be continuing my Walter Sobczak 1B for any big lebowski fans out there. in year 2025. About to break the All time HR record.

I will definitely be creating a new one, as my wife and I are expecting our first, a son due in June, I'm going to start one named after him and make him a SS, because that's every dads dream is to have a son who is stud Shortstop.

Holy Carp! I had a 1B named Walter Sobczak in MLB 15! My DD created player last year was Jeff Lebowski. Of course I had his audio name set to The Dude Lebowski...

I have had a change of heart. I will be carrying forward a MLB 17 RTTS pitcher into MLB 18 because I want to use a OSFM roster to have real world players in my RTTS games versus playing with made up fictional players if I use the default MLB 18 roster. But I won't be carrying forward the existing pitcher I had created last week. I really want to start fresh in MLB 18 and experience the new skills merit system based on how I play in the MLB 18 games versus using the training points from MLB 17. So I will create a new RTTS character and I will go through the whole drafting stage in MLB 17 to make sure I am on the same organization which drafted me which happens to be the Pirates. I am not a Pirates fan, but they are a team I wouldn't mind playing for and my first AA game will be in MLB 18 so that I can start fresh.

I was thinking of doing the same thing, this way I can start my RTTS tonight with last years updated OSFM. Then wait for this years version to start my Franchise.

Wow. Carried my guy over who was a 90. Now he's a 54. Unacceptable for somebody about to be in his 4th MLB Season. I know they said we still would pick an archetype, but they also said are rating would just decrease over time in an attribute we were to high on.

This is ruining my carry over guy right now.
