So unfortunately no adding of an additional archetype with hard caps set to 99 for all attributes allowing some of that enjoy creating beasts to carry on with our players from previous games or create new ones...

smh...they just want to force us to buy their stupid equipment

I mean...how hard can it be to just add an archetype like that.

As a long time user of the red headed stepchild mode - manage mode - which last year was poor due to not enough offense I'm always paranoid these patches will placate others and mess up manage mode.

This year they finally got gameplay right with the most realistic game ever and the biggest part of that was adding offense by ending superman fielders.

"Fielding animation adjustments to the user controlled fielder to catch more balls just outside of the ball marker."

Not sure I want to download this patch because it looks like a move in the direction of last year's overpowered defense.

While I can understand your frustration, I wouldn't expect that to happen here. They have been pretty adamant in their streams that the reasons for the archetype system is to make things more "realistic". Agree or disagree, it would seem highly unlikely they'd change that up with that kind of archetype.

There are a few other archetypes I'd like to see added that would fit into their system (a CF more akin to Griffey, would be nice, because as of now, you can't really hit home runs AND be a CF'er without equipment). But I think getting your hopes up to see a 99-OV 99-everything archetype is setting yourself up for disappointment.

Doesn't seem like an issue with fielding. If anything to me, it seems a little tighter towards non overpowering moves.

On another note, how do you actually avoid downloading a patch without actually just turning off internet? I had auto downloads off and every time I went into a mode in the game it would try and download the patch.
