I like the suggestion in another thread which was for the show to adopt the NHL patch system which allow the user to pick which patches he wants to use.

SDS should compartmentalize the patches.

If you prefer gameplay after the first patch you keep that. Add the various bug fixes to your preferred gameplay and it would be a major improvement.

As it is now if you want the bug fixes you have to take the gameplay changes - all or nothing.

In franchise mode my none of my coaches cpu generated faces are appearing. Its just blank since the last patch. Tried starting a new one, same thing. Also in the main menu of the game, if u click on roster update to see what players went up it actually takes u to diamond dynasty start up screen now. WOW SDS just WOW

I noticed they also updated pictures for some guys. Some pics are wrong too. Offline pitch speed seems unchanged. Was hoping Felipe Vazquez name would be updated, but it isn't. Online pitch speed better after a few conquest games. Patch seems rushed to quiet the community.

Nothing yet. Last year it seemed to me that they added coaches and stuff in with a roster update not a patch

After playing a bunch of DD ranked games I can’t see much difference in pitch speed. Still getting virtually no swing and misses on anything let a lone 95+ Fastballs. Haven’t tried a zone game yet to see if the pci feels better.

Seeing quite a bit of conflicting information out there as well....I don't play online so I can't speak from personal experience. Some are saying that the PCI is not fixed....that they just changed the feedback system. On Twitter and over at ShowNation.

Gameplay Improvements and Stabilizations:

Adjustments made to the Plate Coverage Indicator.

Increased pitch speeds within Diamond Dynasty (both Head to Head and Versus CPU games).

Fix for a rare occurrence where the outfielder would not play a catch (or run over the ball) on firmly hit ground balls that get through the infield.

Adjustments made to allow more user control for infielders on soft line drives just over their head. This allows users to break out and run for the ball, when they sometimes felt locked in.

Fix for a rare issue where the catcher would come out of his cover position (covering home), not allowing branching throws to the plate when a runner is attempting to score.

Franchise:
Fix for when user is unable to make free agent moves until free agency IV phase if the World Series ends on or before Oct 25th.

Miscellaneous:
Fixes for various low frequency consumer reported crashes.

Several UI and art asset adjustments to add polish.

Thanks. I typed the notes from earlier from the PS4 update history screen and it didn't list the franchise fix.

Seeing a lot of very incorrect looking hitting feedback since the patch. Feels like they didn't fix the weird jumping PCI but instead just changed the feedback. So the feedback shows the correct place you swung, but you still get the weak pop up despite the ball being either right in the middle of the PCI, or even below the middle which should result in a ground ball?

Seen a fair few people on reddit and twitter saying the same thing and posting videos and pictures illustrating it pretty well. Seriously hope they haven't tried to pull a fast one here

That's interesting because I thought I had my timing down pretty good as of late and now after the patch everything says my contact is early. So was the feedback WRONG before and now they have corrected the feedback or did the pitch speed indeed increase for offline even though they said it was only for online?
