An I going to have to restart my franchise for the franchise free agency fix to work?

I'm gonna try to restart a Phillies chise where I encountered this bug.... it may not be definitive because I'm already post-glitch , but if it works , then we'll know you won't have to. Gimme a few...I'll post an update

I asked Adam at SDS this when he mentioned they fixed the bug and he said you don't need to restart.
