Bring back stride difficulty slider for us zone plus analog stride user make stride timing matter again, and put back stride timing in the swing analysis.

The ball off the bat sound that ESPN use I know it artificial but it sound so good when solid contact is made.

A better broadcast camera angle when fielding. MVP and All Star actually had a good one, and Retro is as close as I can get, but I'd like one that more resembles an actual broadcast.

I might've already posted this but whatever I don't remember.

- Custom Shifts

I'd like a mini screen where we can drag and drop our defenders to create our own shifts and then the abilty to save them and then apply them to players.

I'd also like to see the 'extreme pull hitters' have more of an effect on where they hit the ball on both human and cpu players.


- More immersion and stat tracking in franchise more.

- Continuing progression of Rtts

I love the track they are on for Rtts, just keep making improvements in the similar mindframe that they have. Keep making it a story about our guy without taking the control out of it like 2K.

Create a uniform for MLB teams and an upload vault for it. That way if SDS misses a uniform, the community can create it.

Crowd and dugout reaction shots intercut in replays.

Statcast used for interesting or botched plays. For instance, I had a player with a 25 speed get a triple. Would be interesting to see his speed around the bases. Also, route efficiency (or inefficiency) on misplayed balls in the outfield.

Another thing I'd like to see added that I've wanted for some time now is the ability to have your pitching coach teach/develop a new pitch with a pitcher. We hear it all the time how a pitcher has been working on a new pitch during the offseason and spring training. Please bring that element of pitcher development to the game.

I know I can go in an edit a pitcher and add a pitch, but honestly that feels sort of like "cheating" because I can determine how good the pitcher is with the pitch to start.

Everything that is offered when you're building your roster before you put it in franchise offer that in franchise. You can edit create Exchange no waivers No Nonsense no Hoops to jump through just the freedom to create as you're playing your franchise. I love the fact that I can transfer my franchise to the next game all my created players I'd also like to have them open up season and if you're in franchise you can still use those players in season. I like to have a slider for a sleeve length and baggy sleeves. A slider for length of pants. The old baggy uniforms. Let us choke up on the bat. Create a uniform with Hats included. 1950s Style baseball gloves. The old cleats we used to wear where the tongue would flip back over. Just more nostalgia lots of bagginess.
Offer fans dressed in their style for whatever era like the 30s 40s 50s 60s Etc

These are not in most important order first, But hopefully all get looked into and not ignored.


1. PLEASE BRING BACK ONLINE FRANCHISE/ONLINE LEAGUES WITH REAL MLB SCHEDULE/BROADCAST OPTION NOT ONLY FASTPLAY.

2. The Online Franchise/Online Leagues needs the 40 man roster added, player options added, waiver wire and the rule 5 draft in June. I would like to finally see a true online franchise with the same exact features offline has and really hope the scoreboards work online with USER vs. USER in MLB 19. Would be nice to see what going on around the league while your in a head 2 head game. Even having commentary talking about whats going on around the league during a league game, talking baout milestones or playoff push.

3. In the Online Franchise/Online Leagues would like to to see the actual real MLB schedule including real off days. In MLB 14 & MLB 15 the MLB schedule was added but the days and dates did not match up. Would like to see actual game start times included and maybe added on the schedule screen with-in the square for that date. What about adding additional year schedules for people who like to use previous seasons or historic rosters?

(b) Can you please add realignment in the online franchise and offline for people who like to play with historic rosters and want the correct team aligment for that era.

(c) I would like to see the Astrodome added as a classic stadium and want to see the 1999 Astros retro uniform. It's the Blue and gold star.

4. We need a complete transaction log for the online franchise. In MLB 14 - MLB 17 the only transaction that would show in the event log was when a player you traded or you signed a free agent or released a player. To help the commissioner a full transaction log would help prevent league owners from sending guys down or calling guys up on a daily basis without the commissioner knowing or approval. The full transaction log would keep things honest.

5. The commissioner for online franchises need more flexibility when it comes to fixing teams in the online franchise when you happen to get a bad owner who decides to release players into the free agency and quits league. In MLB 15 - MLB 17 there were some bad owners in leagues that did this leaving the commissioner noway fixing and getting team back to its original state. With salary cap issues, amount of money to spend to sign players etc made it really tough to sign the players released back. Maybe give the commissioner only a way to over ride transactions, signing players back at no cost?

6. We need to be able to see the player card of players were placing into our lineup to see what there backup positions are at the beginning of a game like offline has, In online franchise etc...all head to head games it does not show there backup positions at the lineup screen before going into a game.

7. We need to be able to edit coaches, managers and Umpire names and appearance in MLB 19. Same as before if we can edit the manager and coaches let us pic from faces from pages that closely look like the coach we are creating.

(b) We also need to be able to give tendencies or schemes of how the manager coaches his team based off real life situations.

8. We need to be able to give logos to players in the main menu of the roster editor like,

9. We need the full SINGLE - A teams - Currently we get 15 spaces we need the full 25.

(b) Another option is to add a EXTRA FREE AGENT 3 & 4 spot. There is just not enough room currently to have all the players we need on our rosters. I prefer the FULL SINGLE- A teams, but even Lorne or Luis has to take players off the game during the year when doing roster updates because theirs not enough room. I have counted they removed like 20 players each update just to have to put them back when a team calls them up or they get signed to a MLB team.

10. Please have a option to turn the morale off!

11. Fix velocities for created pitchers when editing them. They should be static like they are for pre-existing pitchers. It's been broken for over 5 years.

12. Ability to import/export players in an existing franchise and Online Franchise/Online League.

13. Let us be able to edit height and weight to 7"0 tall and 300 lbs and theres a lot of shorter thinner players we can never give them the correct weight, please allow us to give them 155lbs etc on a 6'0 player.

14. We need REAL TIME WEATHER added. Weather is a big part of baseball. Would like to see it automatically change in the game as if its cold see the fog from players mouth when breathing, have dirt look wet from rain, and some type fog rain delays. Maybe tie in weather.com into the game and whatever city the home team is in is the actual weather for that day? If a game starts cloudy then later on as game goes along just let it start raining on its own. The weather should effect the pitchers command and the batters swings as it does in real life.

(b) To see rain drops on helmet, coaches jackets, umpires jackets would bring more realism to the game.

15. COLLISIONS? There were many injuries last couple of years due to collisions. When asked before about having this added I think I was told baseball is not a contact sport? Injuries do happen in baseball and when players collide. In another baseball game in 2007 there was an option to call of the other fielders near. Imagine a fly ball and if you don;t call the other outfielder off they collide and the ball pops loose?

16. WE NEED SERVICE TIME EDIT OPTION IN THE PLAYER EDIT SCREEN PREFERABLY ON THE FIRST PAGE MAYBE UNDER THE PLAYERS LOCATION.

17. ASSIGNING ANY POSITION TO ANY PLAYER OPTION: I have an idea how the positions can be given for any fielder. You have all the positions in a big square pop up screen and you let us check the squares of all the positions we want to give that player. This would allow us to finally give players the correct positions they actually play. We could even actually give a Pitcher a backup position as many releivers are starting to play in the infield and outfield late in games. We could also turn a positional player into a pitcher or vice versa that now decdies there switching and giving pitching a try.

18. We need full editing capabilities offline and in the online franchise such as being able to edit players names, ages, height and weight, jersey numbers, changing there position to anything we want. In the online franchise only letting the commisisoner be the only person who can adjust any of these things. In MLB 18 we could not edit the helmet type from basic, venilated etc to PROTECTIVE so we could give them the C-FLAP HELMET. Please let us edit hthese type of things and especially HEIGHT & WEIGHT in the main menu. This has always been locked in the past and we have no way of updating height and weight to reflect what are players actually are.

19. EXPORT AND IMPORT BETTER OPTIONS: We need the ability to export and import players into MLB 19 that were on previous MLB THE SHOW GAMES, by this I mean real actual MLB players not the created ones as we are already able to do this with those. This has been an issue when accidentally a real MLB player has been imported over and no way to get him back other than recreated them. Would like to see in MLB 19 all players on this game available to export and import anyone of them. Also let us edit anything we want about any player on the game. I know SCEA developers enjoy putting themselves into the game at launch so why not let us export these players and be able to edit anything about them so we can change them into any MLB players missing from the game that might look close to the developers face? This would really help creating missing minor league players as well. As a roster creator myself one of the hardest faces to do are the ASIAN/JAPAN faces and I know there have been some Asian/japan developer faces added to the game in recent years.

This would allow us to turn that developer face into a real MLB player and have a better looking roster with all scan faces. Another idea is make it to where we can use other MLB players FACES and turn them into a player were creating or missing from the game.

(a) Kinda like what madden has, but when creating a player let us choose from baseball players scan faces already in the game. Even if it was just 25 heads to choose from would be a good start. You already have faces to choose from, but there just random faces, If you swap those out and added the following,

5 Caucasian faces of MLB players face already in the game.
5 African American faces of MLB players face already in the game.
5 Hispanic faces of MLB players face already in the game.
5 Japan/Asian faces of MLB players face already in the game.
5 Dominican faces of MLB players face already in the game.

(b) I would like to see pages and pages of players to pick from kinda like NHL or MADDEN does. You could still have face edit options for people who want to create faces, but for me I much prefer picking from REAL PLAYER FACE SCANS. I spend hours and hours trying to get a players face right and if I just had to pick from a face from any of those pages would make the process be so much faster. I spend more time editing players than playing the game and would like a easier way to get the players face done and move on. It takes me 5-6 months to get rosters right before I can even enjoy this game or play. You have added QUICK COUNTS to play faster games, Now we need faster ways to create players.

20. Would like to see player profile pictures change based off of ESPN, fox sports or mlb.com player profile picture. This way when in real life when a player is traded there photo will change for that team, as in real life usually these websites have the players photo updates within 24 hrs. This would work for people who don't keep rosters updated but many of us who enjoy doing this it would look realistic.

21. Add in rookies names into the database each year from who was added during the roster updates the year before.

22. I have asked for this for a few years now but can you please add API (CATCHER CALL) as an option for human Vs. human games? It's currently there for human vs CPU now but would like to be able to use this in head to head games as well. Maybe add Inside edge to the Cather's call based off the past 3 seasons.

23. SUN GLASSES/PRESCRIPTION GLASSES - Would really like to see a "Clear" option for sun glass lenses. A lot players wear prescription Nike or Under Armor or Oakley glasses with clear lenses.

24. In 16 you had compression sleeves for pitchers available.. then it was removed I think first patch, I would like to see that again as many pitchers are using compression sleeves instead of long sleeve.

25. Collision detection would be a bonus, but definitely a nice trimming of those over-animated fielding motions.

Now, for the game play aspect: Players having the ability to actually collide: Having been playing The Show since the 989 Sports days, it's always bummed me out that 2K figured out how to do this back in like 2K7, and we've never seen it come over to MLB THE SHOW. Not that it's a big deal, since The Show has always been the superior game, and I wouldn't want it happening frequently, but, it does tend to make me cringe when you see two fielders converge upon one another, and either nothing happens or they phase through each other.

WEATHER IN DIFFERENT CITY'S:

This needs to be looked into sometimes the weather is way off and not close to what the weather actually should be, adding real life weather conditions should fix this.

(a) Need to get rid of the jackets in the summer months. Still in all these years I played the show pitchers are still wearing jackets when on base in the dead heat of the summer. Make them have no jackets on in the summer months and in the fall let them have them on, or weather of the games or temperature at game time could determine if they will have them on.

COMMENTARY STUFF:

Up the commentary game, talk about situational stuff like how does this pitcher pitch when in RISP or how does this batter bat in the same situation. If a player is taking the day off, talk about WAR. The show is still stuck in the rudimentary surface phase of commentary after a decade, they still write commentary for basic stats. They really need to dig deeper and talk about analytics and how this team really uses them to set their line-up.
