Some of the pitch types are under-utilized like screwball, among others (I did a list of 'em awhile back but I'm too lazy to dig it up). Anyways, another thing to keep it fresh, in my Braves carry over, I edit a few players from other teams, I edit some newly drafted pitchers to include screwball and such, in hopes of eventually seeing those pitches in the future. That slurve is absolutely deadly so its always a challenge to face it.

This what I love about the Show and in turn baseball.

In the game I just played against the Mets I had a total of 5 hits. 4 homeruns and a double. We lost 10-5.

In my 6 game winning streak prior to this loss, I didn’t hit 4 homeruns combined, but averaged just under 9 hits per game.

        Baseball/Show....what a weird but yet beautiful sport/game.

Just had a 5-game win streak with the Rockies to bring our record to 19-23 and most of those games we won by 4+ runs. Started to think the game was getting too easy (default hall of fame hitting/pitching with directional and classic) but then I lost 8-0 to break the streak where I had 2 hits then the next game I lost 3-1 with only 5 hits. The game is baseball.

Game one at the Mets, I won it 1-0 in a pitchers duel.

Game two, I lost 11-7 after a combined four homers from both teams.

Two games, two totally different experiences.

Just finished a game against the White Sox that featured 19 runs, 29 hits, 6 homeruns, 4 triples, a 6 run inning for the Cards, and a 5 run inning for the White Sox. Also both teams came from behind multiple times to either tie the game or take the lead.

What a crazy, crazy game, but once again a reason that I absolutely love the Show this year!

With the Show info connected back to SDS through online, cant they see amount of games played? I bet there are players out there with upwards of 1000 games played by using QC. I also wonder if SDS has any thoughts to revisit looking into QC on and off mid-game. I use QC some but I know I'd use it a lot more if I could do that too. Might even be able to get 1500 games in by the following March.

How many games have you played now in MLB 18 the show? I was going to ask you CB, when using zone hitting and meter pitching, do you have the reticle turned on or off and do you have the ball marker turned on or off for pitching?

I'm honestly not sure, maybe around 325? 350? Somewhere in that neighborhood.

Zone Hitting with the reticle off (its distracting)

Meter Pitching with the ball marker turned on

Jesus, I'm in a slump. Won 9 straight then fell off a cliff completely with the Rockies dropping us from 1st to 3rd with a 44-47 record after losing 11 straight. Dahl is hurt, Blackmon is hurt, Freeland is hurt and DJ is slumping hard. Nolan is still perfect, however, leading the league in homeruns and has the third highest batting average with .387.

It's crazy though - I haven't been upset at the game at any point, which is not something I can say about any other sports title out there. Every game is an absolute joy and I can't see myself stopping any time soon. I haven't played NBA in over a week and I can't say that I miss it much. Maybe when the NBA season starts it'll be different, but I'm enamored.

It's the single greatest sports game ever released - it really is.
My biggest complaint is I love Armor's AND Mike Lowe's a and can never figure out which one to stick with - both play so damn good.
