After getting a good sample of franchise games now, I have to say that I think this is the best show yet. From hit variety, to bloopers, line drives, seeing eye singles, infield hits and everything else under the sun, to the subtle lighting changes from The Show 18, to the presentation on broadcast truly feeling like a broadcast with the addition of Heidi Watley (yes I realize I'm in the minority but I think she's a great addition). Also what I've been most impressed with is the variety in scoring. I can go from a game where I'll barely squeek out a 2-1 win, and then in the next game have an offensive explosion and score in every inning for an 18-8 win. That's never happened for me in all the years of playing this title.
I've been lucky in that I don't play on a hi def tv or have a PS4 pro so the framerate has been really solid for me. I use an LG 1080p PC monitor that doubles for my PS4 via HDMI input.
Really impressed with the game this year and I really enjoyed MLB18 as well but hands down for me this is the best bit of baseball I've had the pleasure of playing. Kudos to the folks at SDS, you guys and gals really nailed it this year, you should be extremely proud of yourselves.Comment

If you go into the coaches contracts menu it will show the effect it has on 3 or 4 attributes (positive or negative). I have always taken it, that all of your position players or pitchers (depending on the attribute) either improve or decrease by whatever the score for that attribute is.Comment

Been a while since I've posted anything here. But, I have a question I can't seem to find the answer to...
How long do they regularly drop cards in Diamond Dynasty? Meaning, what month would they officially have all of the legends and flashbacks in the game? Just based on previous precedent... I've never really messed with Diamond Dynasty in any of the games.
I'm planning on using this game to do an all-time franchise and I don't want to build the roster without Babe Ruth as a position player or, as with Adam Dunn, Michael Young, and Eric Davis, have SCEA players dropping later without being able to import them into my roster. I've been trying to do this for years, but with flashbacks being able to be used in rosters now, feel like this is the perfect time for me to put some hard work into it.Comment

Does anyone know how to get the Computer to Shift. Teams are shifting on almost every hitter in real life these days. I was just curious if there is a way to get the Computer to do that more.Comment

I think it's all just based on real life tendencies, to be honest. For example, almost every team I face shifts heavy for Matt Carpenter. However, as the commentary suggests, the Cubs do not like to shift that much and in turn they do not shift for Matt Carpenter.Streaming all 162 games of my MLB 22 Franchise on Twitch! Come hang out!

Teams will only dynamically shift for created players, and only for extreme shifts.
Real life player shifts are hard-coded, with the only dynamic part being what was mentioned above, with some teams not using the shift at all.
It's a high item on my wish list. I have higher averages than I should, and it's all because the computer is incapable of using the slight shift. Seriously, I've tried switching over to the other team and setting shifts, but they will change it right back the instant you switch off.Comment

About the unlockable custom stadium sounds -
I'm playing RTTS, and I very badly want to hear the hilarious "Fog Horn" sound every time my catcher goes yard. I find it in touch pad>unlockables>stadium sounds... But when I click "purchase options" or "view in store" or whatever, it always shows "item not available" or something like that. I've been checking it constantly since I bought the game.
I would gladly spend the points to purchase it, if I could figure out how. Is there really no way to do that? Meaning my only chance to get the Fog Horn sound is by buying a #load of packs, loot-box style? If so, not cool.
Any info/help will be appreciated.Comment

Hoping someone has an answer for me about cpu changing the lineup.
I play a lot of games in Play now mode and load a roster from my harddrive and just play with that. I noticed that after adjusting my Yankees lineup and saving it, after a couple of games it had switched players around in the lineup without me making the changes.
Any ideas on how to prevent this from happening so I don't have to set the lineup the way I want it every time I want to play?
