Last night the opposing pitcher threw a high pitch that the ump called a ball. When he got the ball back he continued to stare at the ump and held his hand up to his chest as if to say "it was high????". Pretty cool.

Re: MLB The Show 19 - Little Things Thread
The way fielders now will reach into the stands to catch a foul ball is great. Hated how prior anything hit into the crowd was 95% chance of not being caught. Feels more 50/50 now, which to me seems right.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

All the different facial expressions of the pitchers makes it hard to press X to skip to the next pitch. Nice touch.Comment

MLB The Show 19 - Little Things Thread
I don’t know where else to post this. These are some of the little things I’d like to see added.
•Vintage-looking generic cleats*
•Third color option for the knee pad portion of the shin guards (ala Thurman Munson)
•Regular, old school low-top Nike, adidas, Mizuno cleats (the Mizuno* cleats that were in the game for a few years and removed this year were the ideal look for older cleats. I wish they were still in the game.) that do not change from year to year
•Regular Louisville Slugger bat that does not change from year to year
•Flap-less batting helmets (what happened to those?)
•Option to raise or lower pant length, like the sleeves, while still being able to chose which sock style the players wear
•More options when choosing secondary positions, such as a check list (at least add utility as an option)
•Option to use two first or last names in the name audio (either because it’s a hyphenated name or to combine two names to create one ((eg. Ken Cameron Eddy, Gary Guy Eddy, Kent Herb Beck, Ken Griffey, Jr.)))
•Option to change mode-specific settings for each team when controlling more than one teamComment

This isn’t the correct thread

Re: MLB The Show 19 - Little Things Thread
Thought this only happened in March to October but was playing a 3rd week game in my franchise and suddenly Hedi welcomed me back to the Bronx and broke down how my pitching staff was doing early in the season with a cool looking OSD. Took me by surprise as normally she tells me about the offense's output for both teams.
Oh and the games lighting has definitely had an upgrade. Day games during an overcast afternoon shows patches of sun trying to break through in different innings and those night skies...God Bless The USAComment

So far, it’s quite obvious, compared to other years, when your pitcher has lost it and is out of gas. Really have to pay attention to that detail this year.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 19 - Little Things Thread
I like that they changed this small detail in franchise. In the beginning of a franchise season, usually in the past the stats would display 0's for every statistic. Now they added in the previous year's stats and it fills out the game very nicely. This was a small but nice add. After the first two weeks it starts showing the current season's statsComment

Jansen, facial expression(Lips Puckered up) with a concerned face after giving up the HR. Followed by a great celebration and a Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor "yeah we bad strut" after a strike out.

Re: MLB The Show 19 - Little Things Thread
Just finally started my franchise. The opposing crowd has always booed your players when your the away team..however the booed Wilson Ramos A LOT louder when he came to bat. Im assuming that its because he was a former player(NYM @ WSH). That that was neatLet's Go Mets!!!Comment

2-2 Bottom of 10th with a runner at third for the Tigers. Barnes (me) trying to pitch out of trouble with one out.
At least the CPU waited for the second pitch to pull the moth&*$ $&#*&% squeeze play on me.
I threw the first pitch for a ball on purpose, and was so relieved they had removed the squeeze cheese from the game, and then... on the second pitch.... They got me.
Fool me once.... Never again.
