dont recall seeing this before but when you start up a franchise, the first screen that pops up where you choose which team(s) you want to control, you can hit the triangle button to view the roster

Can’t get that to work.

the reason I like it is it lets you view a players morale w/o having to go fully into franchise, and it also lets look at players contracts for upcoming seasons

The graphics somehow look better but I can't really put my finger on exactly what it is.

Ok....franchise....looking at Colorado v. Miami, controller is in the middle. Press triangle I get nothing, move controller to Miami side, triangle, nothing, same on Colorado side, nothing. Help me out here.

You need to be on the screen where you select which team you plan on using as you're creating a franchise.

Thanks...thought he was talking about when you’re in franchise, go to that days team v team page.

Small thing I noticed tonight is that minor leaguers now have a WAR stat. WAR was exclusively for MLB rosters in 18.

Unfortunately don’t have video of it but thought this was a cool moment. Against Baltimore I hit an absolute laser towards third base with Judge, thought it would get by because of how hard it was hit, nope. Renato Nunez dove to the side and took it out of mid air. Was a pretty cool play. Machado who?

Feels like pitchers really struggle once their energy level turns yellow. Definitely more noticeable than previous versions. I just played a game where the CPU starter was dominating me allowing only 6 singles into the 7th inning. But once his energy turned yellow he started missing and then finally started leaving pitches right over the middle of the plate. I was able to get 5 hits and 3 runs that inning. It’s nice to be able to make a pitcher work.

Just had a neat little play. Nothing amazing but cool.

One of my biggest "gripes" if you will, is the CPU seeming to have otherworldly knowledge on if the ball would drop fair or not.

Well slow fly to CF and I am tracking it down but I know its going to be close, so I preload a throw to 3rd because there is a runner on 2nd. Sure enough it drops and I one hop it and throw to 3rd. Its at this point that I realized the runner had stopped halfway, waited to see if it landed, waited a second and retreated to 2nd.

I am so falling in love with game.
