Odds are if you've never touched it, it's already off. Also, it's not available on a regular PS4, only the Pro (which just means you don't have to worry about it if you have a regular one).Comment

Is this framerate/stuttering issue a PS4 Pro problem or a standard PS4 problem or both?

There seem to be a decent amount of us seeing framerate issues, but also a larger amount of people telling us they aren't experiencing/seeing it. From SDS perspective, I'd imagine they won't even look into this since that is the case. I hope I'm wrong, and they'll find some way to make this game run smoother. Bottom line, '19 doesn't run anywhere near as smooth as '18 does, which makes 0 sense to me. How do we go backwards?
'19 still plays a great game of baseball. The framerate is better in some parks than others. However, when I do experience it...it just kills my enjoyment and I end up turning the game off not long after.
Again, hoping for some kind of fix, but I'm really not expecting one. I'll still play '19 here and there, especially with OSFM dropping and I can finally start some franchises. But, this framerate issue is a big bummer and I'll definitely spend less time with this game than I normally do. I guess the only thing I can do is not pre-order '20, and come to this board to see if anyone is experiencing framerate issues before I buy it.
I have posted a bunch in this thread, but I keep repeating myself/I have nothing left to say lol. I hope everyone can enjoy this game in some form.Comment

Re: MLB '19 Framerate drops/sutters help and discussion thread
Frame rate is bad in Fenway. Being a Red Sox fan this really ruins the overall experience for me. Pitching doesn’t seem to bad but hitting is extremely difficult. Frame rate feels like it’s in the 50s and not a buttery smooth 60 FPS. Hitting fastballs has become overly difficult now making it nearly unplayable for me.
I’ve had to go back to 18 because the frame rate is so poor and will be for at least 81 games this season. More if you count the other stadiums with FPS issues. Not sure how 19 was released in this state. Usually game improve graphically, right?!?
What happened? The show is the only reason I own a ps4
