So I’m one of those suckers who ... gives 2K, EA bad SECA my $60 for football, baseball and basketball every season. With the show ... I’ve always taken that first day off of work/school for damn near two decades now. It’s my little holiday and I just enjoy it every single time. We are all expecting BIG things for the PS5 and rightfully so ... in the meantime ... I will enjoy the last game on the current gen consoles [emoji6]

I just finished a game with 19. The game is simply awesome.

So how am I feeling? I want to see the franchise stream. That is really the big thing for me because I am so happy with gameplay on 19.

It really is a wait and see. But that is such a testament to how fantastic 19 has been for me.

As a casual franchise player, '19 is more than good enough for me. Probably the only thing that would get me to purchase '20 at release would be the relocation/rebranding being touted.

If it's up to NBA2K standards (includes realignment), I'll buy it. If it's more like Madden, I'll wait for a significant price drop, or just wait for the PS5 and next year.

And a little off topic, but since they released the trailer, are we allowed to discuss the beta or not? Thx

That there's still a Franchise mode option has me cautiously optimistic. That they're teasing some form of team re-branding has me a bit titillated, even.

I am really enjoying 19 again...I had gone back to 18, then I found the right settings with 19 and I'm loving it too. I feel like this game keeps getting incrementally better each year. Not a huge jump but it's enough for me. Very curious about team branding and relocation and all it entails

All ive wanted since MLB 10!!!! Is franchise relocation/create a team. FINALLY. Its so long overdue but thank god its finally here.
Hopefully its implemented well, im sure it wont be poor but just hope its not shallow, like heres create a team and thats it. Either way im pleasantly optimistic for the first time in 3-4 years.

While I’ll probably never rebrand a team I’m happy for those excited about the addition. Now if they would implement expansion I’d be all in on that.

I am VERY excited for full minor league rosters though. While I’ve always appreciated Ridins roster and Knights before him it was always a tough decision to start my franchise day one or wait for OSFM.

Now hopefully I’ll be able to start day one with all prospects available.[emoji1303]

As a RttS only player, there doesn't appear to be anything motivating me to want to play The Show this year. Considering that SDS combined Franchise and RttS into the same stream while DD is getting more of the attention (as always) does not bode well. Oh well.

In the past we have tried to do DD leagues. I am very curious to see what the new online league mode is all about.

This could finally be what we have always tried to do.

We would have a card draft (best part of it). And form our teams that way.

We also played classic pitching/directional hitting. So it was as player ratings driven as it could be.

Maybe we will have an interface that allows us to do a full on DD league with stat keeping and divisions etc.

And we can still do our own private card draft and set up our roster rules as usual!!

That has me excited. When you have sim minded players in a private league it makes for a good time.

Anyway, im excited as hell about " CUSTOM LEAGUES ".. Couldnt believe my eyes. i thought for sure we wouldnt see or hear anything about leagues in general until we were well off into next gen! this is a good sign of things to come. Sony Sandiego was able to get the MLB spread the wealth with xbox and that is something we should all keep our eyes on... Maybe, just maybe the NFL sees this and gives Take-Two a call.. im also super excited about farm league players being in after ll these years. sad that the minor leagues wont exist in the next few years so i guess its a bit of an apology lol! the new mechanics were well overdue and the graphics seem to have been scaled back if you ask me... we'll see though.. 19 got a black friday purchase from me seeing that i was duped in 18 after preordering and finding out OFM had been outed so yeah, ill be waiting until some transparency is displayed before i spend.. cant waitto find out wht this mode contains.. should be better than nothing for sure!

For me it comes down to one thing. Injuries in MoM games. For whatever reason this has not worked the past 2 years and to be honest it having to through the transactions and manually put guys in the DL really killed alot of the fun.

I can live with long relievers throwing 80 pitches in a blowout or dopey managerial moves by the CPU but if they don't fix the injury bug then I would probably not buy.

I do though have great hope that with the Franchise mode changes they have made this year that this has been fixed. I'll wait and see and when someone posts that it is fixed (And they will be rest assured) then I am all in.
