Kind of amazed that every year there are problems that really could/should have been spotted if anyone at SDS simmed a season or two of franchise before releasing the game.

It's so beyond frustrating. They are losing me for sure. So much for starting a franchise on release with so many blatant issues. A patch is surely months away.

I think if they just asked one person from this community to run sims and stuff like that to find issues, I know many of us would for free!

Could it be because of inflated potentials and such? I've heard there are many more A and B prospects. Was your test with budgets on or off?

Tested with both on and off. The default rosters do not have min. Number of players at each position. I changed positions to take that out of the equation.

Same thing. Cant get through April with 30 plus trades of prospects

Well....it adds some more realism to The Show. Real opening day is pushed back, now our in game ones are too.

For real though, this is pretty disappointing. Was hoping to get started in a franchise quick this year, so much for that.

It takes a lot of time and effort .... some of that time dedicated to undoing some crazy new ratings that pop up

The way around this for me in the past is to have 30 team control and just have no team claim the player. But without 30 team control this is a major bug.

Wait...so you can no longer control all 30 teams...

I'm out...
More time with OOTP 21 for me to get my my baseball fix...

30 team is still an option. He was just stating if you use single team control, you can't change stuff

Yep I noticed when I was exporting A ball players over the fake one the min positions and pitchers were quite different I always had 3 or 4 pitchers more then position players Makes sense now

Ah, here we go again. Another half baked franchise mode after some big hype... And I don't just mean MLBTS. They're all like this. Every cycle it's the same thing.

I know, no game is perfect, but I've had enough of this crap. This probably isn't going to be the only thing that renders franchise mode unplayable.

Seriously, I'm glad I waited and didn't buy. I've finally learned the discipline to not fall for the same tricks over and over again. It's all about the online casinos and that's all it's going to be about. They're all so full of it.

They can all go eat a huge one.

Also are you saying even after you fixed the rosters in terms of getting enough players at positions, the mass trades still happened. Or the trades happened specifically due to inadequate players at positions?
