Ridin consulted them on the rosters, but at the end of the day the players in the launch roster, ratings, and potentials were done by Sony. We kind of had a feeling this would happen so we were prepared in a sense.
Now there are issues with player options and the only workaround for that currently (until it is fixed via a roster update or patch) we would have to import players from MLB 19. If we do that then you will lose commentary for a lot of players. YES, CAPS do have commentary even though they have no audio names they have commentary lines, so it's a catch 22.
We are going to put out a roster this weekend so people that want to play can just play. We will release a more detailed roster with more facial fixes, equipment, ratings and a later date.
Hands are tied due to issues with Sony's set. And if we wait around then nothing would be out until May and that isn't what we want. So those who don't care too much about finer details then this weekend is for you. Those of you that want in depth and fine details will have to wait a little bit longer.
Kudos to Sony for fixing the milb/prospect options...however, now it appears they caused another issue. I've noticed all/most of the veterans also got tagged with 3 options when that shouldn't be the case. Why can't they get things right?
I guess this is better than having the prospects with limited options, but goodness, can they please get their act together for us?
I'll take this over how it was previously but here's hoping they give us the option to edit options.

Ugh serious? Few years ago I had them change all mlb players with 5 plus years of service to 0 because the game was sending vets down without passing through waivers.

Yeah and it didn't fix the excessive trades in March/April
I counted 29 trades at the end of April. CPU still trying to balance the roster.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Easy solution is just allow it to be editable. Why it's not is beyond me? Service time is now editable. Open everything up. Open sliders for everything. Trades, contracts, draft, progression and regression and that would instantly make franchise 100x better.
