Right but it's not like franchise where you can see what their energy is going into the game. This is just something the CPU did while entering the game because I checked my lineup before entering the second game but it happened again.

Anyways, I posted it on the bugs page.

I’m playing this on mlb 19 as the Yankees. In August I’m like 77-27, I traded for Jake Lamb.

I'll give it a try this year, because I'm not sure about transferring my franchise save from 19 to 20 just yet until the sliders are where I want them to be. I'm a Dodgers fan but I have family who are Jays fans and I love the potential of their lineup so M2O is a chance to play games with them.

Decided to start a new MTO with the Minnesota Twins. 31-19 so far. Really enjoying this mode; a nice break from Franchise. Some of the lineup decisions are head-scratching at times, but I've decided to give up some of that control and just enjoy the mode for what it is.

Update, I won ALDS game 1 vs Boston in the 15th inning with a Gleyber Torres walk off single.

Didn't look good for making the playoffs until I won a couple of must win games in September. On game 162, I had to beat the Twins (#1 Wild Card team) to get into a one game tiebreaker against the Red Sox to see who would play the Twins in the Wild Card game.

The game against the Twins was a full game and I was able to pitch well with Junis and score a couple early runs. I won 4-2.

Now I host the Red Sox in another full game.

I've enjoyed the mode more than last year. I just wish we could continue to play MTO in year two of the franchise if we wanted or had the option before each year. That way you could mix it up if you wanted instead of being forced into the normal franchise mode for year two and after.

So I thought I would follow up with my progress:

I beat the Red Sox in the Tiebreaker game to advance to the Wild Card game to play the Twins. I then beat the Twins to advance to play the 109 win Yankees in the ALDS.

I was lucky and won game 1. In game 2, I was up 4-0 in the 8th inning and then the Yankees bats came alive to tie it. We went all the way until the 12th inning when the power at my house went off and then immediately came back on causing my PS4 to shut off. Not good. Luckily, I was able to start up my PS4 with no issues.

The issue I did run into was when I continued my last March To October save file.

After the save file loaded, I was greeted with the this lovely message, "This March To October campaign can not be authenticated by this console."

I don't remember the exact last part of the message but it mainly said I would not be awarded any team affinity awards.

Now I'm not sure if I should continue my journey or if I should start over. What awards would I miss out on and are they that important?

I'm just disappointed this happened as I was really enjoying this run.

I rolled my MTO (Mets lost World Series in 6 games) into a franchise and just rolling with the punches. All auto except trades. I’m simming every game and just playing the critical moments. Having a freaking blast!

MTO has kind of made me go back to just playing the game and not worrying about rosters or lineups. Just relax and have some fun!

Started my MTO this year with Anaheim on Dynamic. Lost my first two plays (1 opening day to the Garbage Cans, and after starting 0-5, dropped one to Texas as well.) Ohtani was my P both games thus far. Sitting now at 3-8 @ home against the A's.

Welp, the wheels fell off the Pirates season yesterday. After beating the Brewers to end a five game skid and break .500 at 13-12, the Bucs lost 19 of 23. They are now in last place at 17-31 with an expected win total of 69. Since their 12-7 start, the Pirates went 5-24 (during which I won 1, lost 4, two of which were player lock so I had limited control of result).

                    Seems about right.

Traded for Trevor Story, Franmil Reyes, JT Realmuto and Mike Clevinger on my Athletics franchise. All for Ramon Laureano and some prospects.

You could say MTO requires realism thrown out the window. Which I'm okay with tbh. Play it as a casual mode where I can have fun building these teams.

I wasn't going to buy this game, but since we don't have real baseball for the foreseeable future I took the plunge.

Tried out MTO and it's a blast. Love just playing the quick sections and plowing through a season without the tediousness of everything else involved. I plan on playing through this mode with as many teams as possible.

Started my first one with the Twins and have already made 3 trades before the All Star break. Got Ken Giles and Jake Diekman because the depth of the bullpen is a weakness, and also made a small deal for Delino Deshields Jr because this team has no bench speed.

i did a MTO with the Cardinals and i had 3 trade oppurtunities but only 1 call up scenario.
I made 2 of the 3 trades one was for Bradley Zimmer who took over in RF for Fowler even tho we kept him and then i Traded for Bauer from the Reds( not usual to trade within the division) but he worked out really well for me ..

I played it on all star and swept the Yankees in the WS ..

Now im playing one with the Blue Jays and am on legend difficulty to see how that is.

Tried it for the first time this year, I’m usually a franchise guy but being that you can carry it over I figured I’d give it a shot with the Yankees

Made it to August now and don’t love it, personally. It feels like you just end up playing / pitching with the same people over and over again, even with mixed in scenarios.

I did appreciate the approach it takes with trades tho

The once comfortable lead has dwindled down to 1 in mid-August with the Blue Jays hot on my tail. Traded for Kyle Seager and Josh Naylor. Naylor hit 3 tanks in his Yankees debut.

Dynamic difficulty jumped up to legend and I'm really struggling to hit now.
