You will get the chance to call up specific players based on your roster and player performance. I was prompted within the first month or so to give Robbie Erlin the call in my Pirates save. However, we don't have free reign to make moves as we see fit. The ability to set our opening day roster from the 40-man would be a nice addition for next year.

Playing my first M20 as the Yankees. At the All-Star break now and have been offered 3 trades now. Declined first one for just a minor leaguer and accepted 2 for Dee Gordon and Corey Dickerson for minor leaguers. I'm hoping for some blockbuster trades for Trout, Freeman, or Lindor. Is there a limit to how many trades are offered or anything I can do to increase chances? I already put those 3 names in my targets list.

I mean, I'd just be happy if the CPU would stop changing the lineup on its own.

But more to this point, I wholeheartedly agree. It would be much more beneficial to have Jo Adell on my Halos MtO than Hermasillo, or still have Matt Thaiss to come off the bench in the playoffs as a LH hitter. Right now, against righties I don't have a LHB to come off the bench.

That being said, I need to overcome a 4-0 Yankees lead to sweep them and head to the World Series. I have had a ball with this MtO and plan on converting it to a Franchise. Trout, Rendon, Brian Goodwin, and Justin Upton all hit 40+ HR's in the regular season, with Upton hitting 51. He's gotta be the MVP.

Are playoff affinity points gated like the season, or accumulate?
I had 19 points for Atlanta, 3 from moment, 10 from all-star, 6 from season end. I beat the Dodger in the NLDS for another +6, however I still only have 19 points listed. Rebooted the game a few times to see if that helped.

I’m having a hard time playing another game since two separate Giants M2O season ended with the locked outfielder jogging off the field bug. “Already sent videos to SDS”

I’m hoping they accumulate through the playoffs and it’s not another bug basically killing the mode for me.

I think this mode is really cool but I’m having a few immersion breaking issues

1. What’s up with the lineups? I set all the lineups, rotation etc, then when I go into the game I see some ridiculous stuff. I’m the Yankees and I suppose they have Gary the day off, Higashioka is in there batting in Gary’s clean up spot?? Wtf is that, wish it would auto adjust to a realistic lineup when it does that, or am I missing something
2. I’m past the all star break and I’ve had not one injury. Are injuries turned off in this mode?
3. Wish the sims were a bit more balanced. It just too streaky as is. I’d expect a cold team to loose a lot of games but not multiple 7 game skids. At least throw a couple wins in there. Same for a hot team

Forgot to mention I also saw Toronto put Vlad jr in at catcher after pinch hitting....I got some comic relief when every pitch was a passed ball, but that was seriously immersion breaking

Someone forgot to tell Matt they won last year

This thing was crazy - along with the video above, the NLDS went all 5 games and the NLCS went all 7. The CS was all I really wanted as it guaranteed me the affinity Soto card, but I was still going to play out the WS regardless.

It picks for you - the moment you choose to jump into one of the games it goes straight to the loading screen, and then the field. No opportunity to change uniforms.

I've been playing a Rangers MTO to try and get the team affinity required for Joey Gallo's face of the franchise card. I made the wildcard round and have to play that game next. I have 0 interest in continuing this MTO in to a franchise mode, the Rangers would be a fun franchise team but I gutted their minor league system to make several win now trades just to try and get the Gallo card.

Whatever is easiest for you.

I play on Veteran, that's 52 points (says 42, but 52 is a perfect run).

With that said, if i have collections done for teams and the moment I play on Rookie, that gets you 42 points with a perfect run. Takes like 5 or 6 hours and easier way to get the FOFT card. More laid back relaxed run.

I have had my fun with MTO on Dynamic and also All Star, now its just a mode to get these cards etc for me.

Does every postseason game begin with your team behind? I had the second best offense and best pitching staff in my MTO, but every game so far in the post season starts with my team trailing late in the game. 2-0 4-0 4-1.....

This mode is pretty fun..almost done with April with the Cubs.
