Does every postseason game begin with your team behind? I had the second best offense and best pitching staff in my MTO, but every game so far in the post season starts with my team trailing late in the game. 2-0 4-0 4-1.....

That's been my experience so far. I've heard people mention they were able to play their playoff games from the Top of the 1st, but I have yet to get that scenario.

Someone forgot to tell Matt they won last year

This thing was crazy - along with the video above, the NLDS went all 5 games and the NLCS went all 7. The CS was all I really wanted as it guaranteed me the affinity Soto card, but I was still going to play out the WS regardless.

Could feel the tension from just watching the vid; put your faith in Obi-Sean and all went well. Cheers

I’m Yankees on all-star difficulty, made trades for Schwarber, Hader, and Kluber. 122-40 regular season and just swept Rays in ALDS, next is Astros in ALCS.

I played it on a harder difficulty a few times, I'm not grinding out a mode on a higher level if i can do it on a lower level and get the FOTF card easier. LOL

But this mode is fantastic on a harder difficulty..

I’m Yankees on all-star difficulty, made trades for Schwarber, Hader, and Kluber. 122-40 regular season and just swept Rays in ALDS, next is Astros in ALCS.

Is it time to up the difficulty or play with a non-contender? I'm playing on All-Star with the Mets now. I'm near 50 games with a projection of 92 wins. I'm still trying to figure out if All-Star is too easy, but I guess 92 wins for this team is about right. Depending on how this season goes, I may try again with a lower ranked team. I'm really enjoying MTO!

It is massively weighted towards comebacks, or "excitement" in general. THe amount of BS that happens in this mode is off the charts, both for and against you. Summed up pretty well by the line score of my game 163



Literally had zero doubts that I'd come back in the 10th, I wasn't remotely concerned. They kept taking the lead on absolute BS runs (homers on pitches out of the zone, fielders not reacting, not throwing it quickly etc) and then I kept replying straight back with every swing landing safe, regardless of how good it was. Then as soon as I'd get level, it would go back to perfect line outs and balls caught at the track.

Just curious, what difficulty are you using?

Just finished up my 7th MTO and snagged Snell. I've done the Mets, A's, Rays, Nationals, Dodgers, Rangers, and Padres.

Who should i go after next?? (anyone but the Yankees LOL)..

Twins. The lineup has a ton of power and you're playing in a nice ballpark.

I agree with this. I'd also add that the Twins have sharp uniforms. For some reason, their pinstripe unis have always seemed to stand out in this game.

Also: White Sox, Braves, Reds, Cardinals and, even though I'm biased, the Giants.

Ordinarily I'd say Astros, but as weird as it might seem, their cheating scandal left such a bad taste in my mouth that I don't even like playing as them in MLB The Show. LOL!

I won ALCS in 6 games and beat the Mets in 5 to win worldseries title.

I started up a Twins MTO yesterday. I’m basically at the all star break and should be finished by this evening or tomorrow at some point.

I went against what i usually do and started it up on Dynamic Difficulty to get as most points as i can. I’m 2 wins above where I should be at the moment and started off on Legend, but got bumped from Legend Plus pitching down to Hall of Fame Plus so my difficulty for points is Hall of Fame at the moment. The threshold is max of 17 points at the break. I made a few trades and as of now above where I need to be wins wise, hope I get at least 13 to 15 points at the break. Crosses fingers.

But for sure having more fun because games are competitive and I’m not just getting bored on Veteran each game.

Only on your very first one. It did that for me with the Mets back on 3/13/20.

Then after that all the new ones start from where you left off on it before.

Unreal season going on here. Ups. Downs. Game 155 (Walk it off to take the division lead), down 2 bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, 3 run walk off shot by Rosario and the Twin City is rocking! Wow. On Legend Plus Hitting..

I jumped up like that actually happened LOL

Up by a game with 6 to play. Next game says (win to guarantee a post season birth up 3-1 top of 8th)
