Some truth here, but so far MLB 20 for me has been the most organic feeling gameplay in the series in a long time. Only thing that feels scripted is when I can't move my fielder, or when they script me getting caught in a pick off, and im hammering the return to base button while my runner stands there.

I think I'm nearly done too...

...but then, I'll be diving straight into Season 2!!

Correct. There's a guy in the Dynasty forum who has a plays every game in his Tigers franchise where he's like 90-5 in 2020, without any major additions...

No I'm not. I'm perfectly aware of what dynamic difficulty is and whether I have it on or not. Don't attempt to undermine my intelligence because it does not fit your narrative.

Definitely a lot of Facts here! One thing I am really hoping to see from a programming perspective. Is the CPU base running logic.

I want to see cpu runners read the pitcher, read the ball when it's put into play,

get caught in a pickle and try to get out.

have the intelligence to runner harder or faster,

more than two home plate slide animations,

Intensive or aggressive base running animations throw 15 out there heck 21 because of the year!

every base runner should look different and be engaged with the game on the field!

Maybe I am day dreaming and asking for too much? We all know the graphics will be improved but I am past that now!

Game is stale AF, haven’t played in months. I used to play full 162 seasons at one time but my love for the game has dwindled to nothing at the moment. I also feel this may be the worst the game has played.
not a fan of the arcade feel of the homerun camera and slow mo tag. Let me turn that **** off.
Commentators are also probably the worst in sports gaming.
The Heidi feature is also an absolute chore..
Franchise is so dated is laughable

Yeah, I also feel like I'm playing a curated experience quite often. To be fair, I'm also on the winning end of this sometimes, and it feels a bit unearned. I tend to notice this much more in the final third of games, so perhaps some of it is that pitcher confidence and stamina play an outsize role. Clutch might also be a factor.

I wonder what sort of effect it would have to give all pitchers a clutch rating of, say, 75+ and hitters a clutch of 50.

Yup...20 is so fun. I can't seem to put down the controller. 17-19 I struggled to even play more than 3 games a week. This year I found the right team and am having more fun than I did with any other Next Gen iteration
