Yes and I haven't experienced any frame rate drops. Even the celebrations after a walk-off are smooth from start to finish whereas the same celebrations looked ridiculous.

Just got a ps5 yesterday. Played a few innings of 20, and I can confirm. On sharper and HDR on, this thing is as smooth as butter. WOW [emoji7]

Lucked out and was able to secure a digital PS5 a couple days ago when Amazon dropped and came in today.

I'm coming from a PS4 slim. I'm only on a 1080P 75hz monitor but immediately noticed just how much smoother the game felt especially the transfer from ball off the bat to the field camera. Hopefully this stays true when the graphical upgrades come with the future iterations.

May hook it up to the 4k tv just to see how it looks and runs in the sharper mode.........I know that's going to make me want a 4k monitor though. Lol

I wonder if MLB The Show 20 will run perfectly smooth in 4K/60 on PS5?

Because even on PS4 Pro it is still kind of choppy in 4K/60 mode.

I already sold my PS4 Pro and I can't wait to get my hands on the PS5 hopefully before the end of the year and the first game I play is non other then MLB The Show 20 .Unless of course I do not get my PS5 until next spring then I will play MLB The Show 21 of course.

Man I wish they had a lot more PS5's available at launch such a bummer

I did the same thing. Figured it made the most sense. I sold my PS4 pro on eBay several months ago for a really good return (paying for well more than half of the price of PS5 disc version plus tax).

I've still got my PS4 slim that I'm playing through this winter, so I'm good there.

Waiting until release month of MLBTS21 on PS5 (whenever that is), to buy a PS5 (hopefully they'll be some stock available at Amazon).

MLB The Show 20 will be playable on the PlayStation 5, however some of the features available on the PlayStation 4 might be missing. Specific details have not been revealed.

That's interesting. Doesn't it seem like the opposite should be true - some features on the ps5 won't be available for the ps4? Seems odd the new supercarged ps5 would have fewer features. I guess we will find out eventually.

I've been playing MLB 20 on the PS5 since launch day and I haven't noticed any features missing at all. The game is phenomenal on the PS5

The best thing to me is that this game is better on PS5 than both next gen madden and 2k IMO. Much smoother and plays just like a dream.

I'm at the point where I'm pretty much done playing anything but the show. No more EA or 2K in my life lol
