Last night I noticed logos on arm sleeves would disappear than reappear.

    Anyone else seeing that?

Yeah it's happening to everyone I think. Probably just the backwards compatibility thing acting a little funky.

Yeah a side from that and some of the equipment details blurring in and out I haven't had any issues whatsoever

I'm honestly concerned that the new 21 version will improve graphics at the cost of framerate. After my experience with Madden 21 on PS5, I felt letdown that all cut scenes and replays are 30fps....really kills the flow for me. Having come from PC Madden where everything ran at smooth 60 FPS, even at 4k, it is a shock to the system.

I was all excited because I thought SDS was going to release The SHOW for PC so I was planning on getting it on there as well. Now that I have to get it on the PS5 I am hoping for improved graphics without having to sacrifice framerate.

There’s a rumor that they will also have a 120fps mode so we’ll have to wait and see.

My catcher no longer calls locations of pitch for me. I verified api was on. Any ideas? Is it a ps5 thing?

What difficulty are you playing on? I don't think the catcher calls pitches if you're playing on HOF or Legend. I could be wrong though.

I was using dynamic. I think it’s at all star. It’s weird. I went through every setting like 5 times. In between pitches goes to a different cut scene. I can’t even see my catchers fingers for the call. I use classic pitching. Like the sliders.

Huh, that is weird. And I take back what I said about the difficulty, bc I'm playing right now and I'm on HOF pitching and the catcher is still throwing down signs for me

It calls pitches on all levels - you can tell by the catcher hand signals when playing from a behind-the-pitcher camera. It only does the API "highlighting the catcher suggestion" thing on Veteran and below - All-Star is the point at which it stops highlighting them.

It used to be that the API appearing on what seemed to be All-Star in RTTS was a tipoff that the difficulty was different under-the-hood than what you had selected (depending on what level of the organization you were in), but I don't believe that's the case anymore. I think they stopped doing that last year or the year before.

I’ve been playing TS19 on PS5, but ranked seasons so I can get the platinum trophy. I would say not much difference between PS4 Pro and PS5 in terms of input recognition and lag. I’ve been having massive issues with pulse pitching and it not recognising me pressing X. Having to step off the mound constantly for fear of grooving the pitch. This happens every few games, in one it was ridiculous. I kept having to switch my controller off and on again. It did happen occasionally on my PS4 Pro but much worse on PS5 with PS5 controller.

Also seeing game lag basically the same as PS4 Pro in some games.

To summarise I would say online is the same experience.

I have all 3 digitally, so I guess I could try them out if I get time to re-download them. I do know that '15 (I may have said '16 before, but I was wrong) hard-locked my PS5 every time when loading into a game, so that test didn't last long.

When I played on the PS4 Pro using the same exact sliders it would show me the catchers fingers and then also the little glove that fades as to where they want the ball to end up when I’m up to PS5 it does not show me anything anymore the sliders are still the same so that is why I’m so confused confused

It's been my experience that no matter what difficulty you're on (I always have dynamic on) you can see location if you press R2. This includes when the catcher glove doesnt show up on the first call.

I have tried that and it’s not there. I am wondering is it just a spring training and ps5 thing? I have not made it into the year yet.

Without it I end up using the hot and cold zones to figure out where to pitch. Then I throw like 95% strikes. So not very accurate. I wonder if that glove location went away with ps5.
