Maybe we'll be lucky and SDS will give us all a bronze DD pack to make up for removing a feature on PS5 and not telling anyone until a day before release.

I haven't used SOTS in a while but was actually really excited to add it in for my custom team this year. Another great job by SDS in pissing people off. I'm sure there's a legitimate technical reason for it with the PS5, but to not say anything and bury it on a FAQ page...bad looks all around from a team that already has indicated they aren't prioritizing the offline gamer experience.

There can’t be a legitimate technical reason because SOTS works on the ps5 now, with 20. That proves there’s no HW/platform issue and it is achievable.

The thing with the parity argument is, SOTS is still available in the PS4 version...if MLB demanded like-for-like across the board then why’s it still on the PS4?

I can’t think of any good reason for this. And the way they’ve gone about telling us...buried in an FAQ to cover their backs when people find out it isn’t there, leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.

Not only did they hide the fact that SOTS was removed until a few days before release but the devs will block you if you even ask nicely about it on Twitter.

Not a good look.

Remember that the first ps4 version had nothing for music

I do remember that and I also remember them being out in front of it and telling the community in advance while also so saying they were trying to work on a way to get it back in.

The issue this time is they didn't say anything. And then hid it on a FAQ page two days before release. That's the issue a lot of folks have. Just tell us like you did with Y2Y saves. Don't have us find out like we did. That's poor form.

We see this kind of thing all the time at my job with our sales team and I will never understand it.

People will be less upset if you are just upfront and honest with them. They may not like the answer, but you aren’t giving them something to double down on their anger with.

If you buy the deluxe package online it comes with the PS4 ver as well .. so you not actually buying the 2 games you buying one for 2 versions .. That way you can do SOFTS with os4 version and play Dimond Dynasty on the 5

Yeah but that’s jus backwards !!!! Plus tbh the PS4 version is the same as the PS5 without the stadium creator as they jus flat ported over to PS 5 instead of making the next gen an actual next gen!! Soon as I can find an Xbox series X I’m moving away from the drowning ship that is Sony !!

So if they took it out because xbox doesn’t support it, why didnt they take our haptic feedback. Its on ps5 but not xbox.

looks like I'm glad I never got a PS5, stadium creator is great but SoTS is more important IMO.

Will ps4 '21 have SoTS like always? Stadium music and player walk-ups? or is there version a much more run down versions of 20's?

The way the FAQ reads I'd say yes. But that's an assumption at this point.

Ps4 has SOFTS ps5 doesn’t makes no sense to me how you downgrade into a next Gen system makes no sense at all .. I just got blocked also by Ramone crazy.

Its the same thing that happened when the NHL series went to PS4/XB1. Basically tore the game apart and started from scratch. It doesnt look like SDS was as drastic as EA was, but still not good.



PS3/360 really looking like the best console for sports games ever. Again IMO
